Decent day tour in Ireland
Cliffs of Moher was good in my opinion but I was little disappointed with Galway. Nevertheless, our guide Rory was very funny and our driver Sarah was excellent.

Great tour!
Matt and Marcin were great! The tour is long but it goes fast. Two hours at the cliffs and two hours at Galway are the perfect amount of time. We wavered whether to spend a whole day on this tour but it was worth it. I recommend this tour if you want to see the Cliffs, the Irish countryside, and to get some great seafood. We had the fish n’chips at the Kings Head and it was *chef’s kiss*!

Long day but good tour
This is a long day on the bus. We started early and on the dot at 6:55am. With one 15 min rest stop, we made it to the cliffs around 10:45. 2 hours at the cliffs was plenty for us. We did the trail to the little tower and beyond and then did the short trail the other way which was closed for repairs. Then off to the visitor center for a restroom break and quick coffee and we were back on the bus. The Atlantic coast ride is stunning but it took about 3 hours and 45 mins to get to Galway. 2 hours there was just enough time to grab a lunch and a quick walk before we were back on the bus back to Dublin for another 3 hour ride. A 15 min rest stop before we headed back to Dublin and arrived around 8pm. Definitely not enough time to explore Galway if you plan to eat there. But still a great way to get to that part of the country if you don’t want to drive. And driving there is not for the faint of heart. You do have the option to stay back in Galway and either take the next tour bus next day or make your own way back. Try to get a seat on the left side of the bus as it gives you a front row to the scenic drive. The Atlantic coast drive is stunning. Our driver Shane was very skilled and patient and he had great rapport with our guide Brendan. I was very glad that Brendan was not a guide who tried to entertain us the whole time. He gave us information when we needed it and that was great. The bus itself was very comfortable but no cupholders or anything to hold your stuff. So if you plan to bring coffee or a drink in the morning, you’ll be holding on to it.

A great trip to some fabulous views of the coastline. Our guide Sean provided a very interesting review of Ireland’s history. Steven’s ability to connect with his passengers made the trip very enjoyable.

Not worth a whole day, not what I wanted
Not what I expected. Disappointed that I didn’t get to see much out the window due to a decal on the big greyhound-like bus on 4 of the windows blocking most of the view, several of us didn’t get to see much. And we spent way too much time on the Cliffs of Moher, and not nearly enough time that we needed in Galway City. I also wanted to see more of Galway Bay Area, but it was only pointed out from a distance. Would recommend they change the tour to driving through Galway bay and more of the countryside views, with some stops to see and take pictures. When you plan a trip to see the beautiful Ireland countryside, that’s what it should be. I did enjoy the Ireland history, that the tour guide Brian, did well. It was advertised as a small bus tour, so I expected a big van, not a giant bus (with a blocked window view), so I was really not happy to have wasted a 13 hour day and only able to see two places, one being a typical tourist city with most the time taken up by finding a lunch spot and eating lunch with no Emerald Isle view.

Amazing day!!
Three words: Dave and Krishna!!! They are both so amazing & made what was already a great adventure that much more fun & memorable. Dave was an excellent guide starting with greeting us as we boarded & communicating to Krishna to seat us. Dave was super knowledgeable about the rout to our excursion & any other questions he was asked. Krishna was a master at driving, navigating a full bus through some hairy weather & narrow roads. I cannot say enough good things about these two. They were an absolute treasure on our trip.
