Cliffs of Moher tour

What a great trip! The Cliffs of Moher were beautiful (if very windy) and the trip to Galway was nice. Trip Guide Julia was amazing! Funny, full of great history and great information. Driver Keith was also great and very friendly

Highly recommend THIS specific tour because of the guide himself and bus driver!

I would have to say this has been one of my top tours! Stephen was an amazing guide!! He was very knowledgeable with the history of Ireland (as well as the UK) but he was also hilarious!!! He sang to us, shared with us his own personal family stories, played songs that were in accordance with what he was chatting about, and just honestly made you laugh! I truly enjoyed every minute of this tour! Highly recommend! The bus driver made the ride smooth and made me feel safe! He was always pleasant to chat with at the stops as well as the cites listed for this tour!

Prepare for a breathtaking experience…

The wind and uphill climb can be challenging depending on your fitness level. The path can be slippery when it rains so it’s important to wear proper waterproof footwear with good grips. If you are from a tropical country, like me, be sure to layer your clothes to keep warm.

I believe it might not be the most worthwhile use of my time or resources.

It’s a 1* rating, unfortunately, due to an experience with a black cab driver who, regrettably, directed some unkind remarks towards me. I believe it’s important to remember that passengers, including myself and fellow tourists, are the ones who pay for the service.

a few days in Dublin

we went to the cliffs. we were lucky with the weather. it rained only a little. win was pretty strong! the guide was excellent( julia). and keith the driver was skilled!

Wonderful and beautiful...

Wonderful and beautiful trip. Cliffs are breathtaking. Pictures don’t sum it up, seeing it in person is a must. Nimah our tour guide was wonderful. She is friendly and knowledgeable of Irish lore and the surrounding we drove past. Wish we had more time in Galway, love the city. So much to do and enjoy. Our bus driver got us safe and sound back to Dublin. Cheers.

Was a good tour! Darren was a great driver and got us places safely and well, and Matt was a very energetic guide with lots of knowledge. The weather was as Irish as could be, with a clear sunny morning to begin with and then mostly rain on the Cliffs of Moher and very rainy in Galway. Everything was beautiful regardless! 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish we got even more explanations about the views along the way, Irish history, culture, and heritege since it was all so interesting. Great tour regardless, would recommend!

Booked a Dublin to Belfast Black Cab, Dunluce Castle and Giant's Causeway tour. Una was our tour guide and was very welcoming, kind, and gave great knowledge. Krishna was our driver, he was also extremely helpful and accomandating. The tour was a great experience. We never felt rushed and had enough time to do everything we wanted. Would gladly book another tour.

I could not recommend this tour enough! We had originally booked with another company that cancelled on us very last minute. Thankfully, Wild Rovers had room and it couldn’t have turned into a better day. Our guide, Julia, went above and beyond, making it a very personal experience and provided lots of history and recommendations. Our driver JP made driving a bus on tiny rural roads seem easy. We had the perfect amount of time to explore the Cliffs and Galway without feeling rushed or as though we needed to kill time. Would book again!

Julia and JP were amazing. Julia was incredibly knowledgeable and provided loads of info throughout the trip. And JP was an absolute boss navigating the coastal roads! I felt safe and comfortable, and am very glad Julia and JP were the ones taking me on the trip. Thank you!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! Julia & JP were absolutely amazing, zero complaints. Julia was such a great guide and JP such a great driver. I had a tour booked with Irish Day Tours (a separate company) and they cancelled as we were getting on the bus— Julia from Wild Rover tours was so sweet and helped out the people from the other company who got cancelled on. If I can say one thing it will be always book with Wild Rover Tours.

Our trip to the cliffs of Moher and Galway was amazing and informative. Darren (the driver) made it the smoothest and safest rides, and Matt (the guide) was informative and funny. I really felt like I got to learn about Ireland from a perspective deeper than just surface level knowledge, Matt taught us about legends, key landmarks, superstitions, and history. I’m not from Ireland, but Matt captured the heart and soul of the people in this country so well that I feel like I’ve gained a connection and deeper respect for the people and the families that live here and have lived here for generations. DEFINITELY TAKE THIS TOUR!

Our guide Matt and driver Matt both did an excellent job! We enjoyed the folk lore story telling, historical facts, singing and jokes on the bus drive. He explained the bus timing and meet up locations very well, so everyone got back on time. It was raining on and off all day, but Matt's cheerful personality made the trip bright and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a blast with Matt! He was very informative the entire drive giving us a wonderful history lesson on the history and culture of Ireland. Darren was a fantastic driver, getting us through very tights spots in a large bus! Would highly recommend.
