Cliffs Of Moher, Wild Atlantic Way & Galway City Day Tour from Dublin

Our guide Kevin & driver JP were lovely. Kevin was quite literally the most interesting man in the world who, does an adequate* ;) job! The tour itself was very independent and self guided. From Dublin, it’s about a 3 hour drive to the Cliffs with one stop in between for a bathroom break. The Cliffs are entirely self-guided, though Kevin was well-prepared and gave us a really good rundown of how to access the guided audio tour + his recommendation on how to explore the cliffs! While the drive is LONG, Kevin did a great job of entertaining us where he could with fun facts, trivia-esque history, and a bit of jokes. Honestly, a class act. You get two hours in the Cliffs, after which there’s another 1.5 hours drive to Galway, where you spend another 2 hours. Again, Kevin did a bang-up job of ensuring we had all the info necessary to take on Galway, and even dished warnings about how to ensure a comfy trip back! Definitely would recommend, even though the bus ride is killer on your body.

Jon/John (not sure which spelling) and Una were lovely tour guides. Very welcoming and can tell the passion Una has for the tales/folklore/history. Would definitely be booking wild rover tours again,if we're ever back in Ireland! Also the bus/coach was very clean and maintained well! First time on a coach tour and definitely was a good experience =)

Fabulous

Fabulous day trip of must see sights in Belfast! A full itinerary including Dunluce Castle and Giants Causeway, coupled with history lessons on the Titanic tragedy or Northern Ireland Troubles. Una and John were the best hosts and made a group trip personal and memorable.

Super Tagesausflug!

Daniel war sehr motiviert und informiert! Würde nochmal eine Tour mit ihm buchen, da es nicht langweilig wird. Die Tour an sich ist sehr schön, aber man darf nicht vergessen, dass man an den Stopps nicht geführt wird.

Amazing experience

A day long trip that is worth its while. The breath-taking landscape of the imposing cliff, along with the atlantic coastline, make a stunning view and an unforgettable memory. As for all the tours offered by this tour operator (this is my third one) it was beautifully planned. Today's guide was Christian, fun and informative. The driver Joe performed some acrobatics along the twisting coastline narrow roads. I really recommend this itinerary.

Highlight of Visit to Ireland

If I could give this tour 10 stars, I would. Our tour guide, David, is the most exceptional tour guide I have ever encountered over my long travel history. He kept us informed and entertained, giving us a stunning and concise overview of Irish history, interlaced with his own songs. He would make an excellent History teacher! He is a wealth of information and obviously enthusiastic about his country. At the end of the tour, he personally went to every passenger in the full bus, answering individual questions and giving advice. Every stop was a special delight - Kilkenny and Glendalough - where we had sufficient time to roam about in our own time and never felt rushed. The visit to the farm was the highlight, as was the sheepdog demonstration. Our driver, John, was a remarkable driver, negotiating sometimes narrow country roads with skill. The bus itself was immaculate and the audio system was great. I can highly recommend this tour - it was the highlight of our visit to Ireland.

Great visit to the Cliffs of Moher

Christian and Joe were fantastic guides on our trip from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher to Galway. They were very funny and informative and made the tour really enjoyable! We had beautiful weather all day which definitely made the trip!

We had the perfect amount...

We had the perfect amount of time in each location to explore without feeling rushed or bored. Our tour guide, Paul, and driver, Micheal, were lovely individuals. Paul was always very kind to take pictures for me while at stops since I was traveling solo. He was very personable and knowledgeable of the areas. I highly recommend this trip and taking his short walking tours.

Exceptional Tour

We had a wonderful experience with Wild Rover. It was easy to book on their website and we had no problems on the day of. There was plenty of time to explore the areas we visited after a short tour. Our guide, John, was wonderful and very knowledgeable of every site we visited. The drive was also smooth thanks to Frank. I would definitely book with Wild Rover again and I would be more than happy to be hosted by these two again!

This tour is the perfect option for a day trip to see the cliffs. Very well organized, Christian and Joe were great, funny, and so knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Wonderful taste of west coast Ireland.

This is trip is a long day -- 12 hours or more -- with a lot of time spent on the bus (with rest stops since there's no toilet on the vehicle) but it's well worth it. The Cliffs of Moher are simply spectacular, almost indescribably so. Be sure to wear good walking shoes if you plan to follow the trail to the highest point. The only problem is the undependable Atlantic weather. We were very fortunate because it was clear and sunny but I've heard stores of people who arrived to find the cliffs shrouded in fog The drive from the cliffs to the coastal town of Galway is also a scenic wonder. It passes through the wild barren-looking area known as The. Burren. Galway is a charming town even when overrun with visitors as is inevitable in mid-August. It's very tourist oriented in the season but wander off the main streets especially along the quay, and you'll get a respite from the crowds and even a view of a characteristic Galway Bay fishing vessel known as a "hooker"; yes. a hooker. Our young guide, Stephen was charming and amusing though not always as well-informed as some guides I've experienced. Driver Shane negotiated the challenging lanes with experienced skill. The Skoda bus -- coach -- was very comfortable.

Unforgettable Day Trip to the Cliffs of Moher – Thanks to Daniel & Mario!

We had an absolutely fantastic day trip to the Cliffs of Moher, made even more memorable by our amazing tour guide Daniel and skilled driver Marko! From the moment we boarded the bus, Daniel set the tone with his friendly energy, quick wit, and deep knowledge of Irish history, culture, and geography. He struck the perfect balance between education and entertainment—keeping us informed with fascinating stories and facts while also making the whole bus laugh with his great sense of humor. You can really tell he’s passionate about what he does, and it made the entire experience so much richer. Mario, our driver, was equally impressive. He navigated the winding country roads with ease and made the ride feel smooth and safe the entire way. The Cliffs themselves were stunning beyond words, and we had plenty of time to explore and take in the views. But honestly, it was Daniel and Marko who turned a great day into an exceptional one. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ireland! Thanks again, Daniel and Marko—you two are a dream team!

Must Do!

LOVED this tour! Getting to learn about the history of Belfast while also having time to explore on our own was wonderful. Nothing can top the views at Giant's Causeway. The weather was perfect. Aaron was our tour guide and Michael was our driver. They were fantastic! Great way to see Northern Ireland!
