We recently had a full-day tour booked with this company. The tour was to Wicklow Mountains, Glenadough, etc. We arrived at the first pick up location 15 minutes prior to our pick up. We were in the exact location designated as our pick up location. The bus went 1/2 block to a different location. There was NO notice of the change in location. The bus came and went without us. Our contact with this company was extremely negative. They changed the information about potentially rescheduling our tour in three different phone calls and made NO attempt to assist us despite saying initially that seats were available, then not available, then telling us they would not give tickets to people who do not show up! They were extremely rude from the very onset. The result was that we were cheated out of a long planned tour, lost payment and dealt with the ONLY rude people on our entire trip! I later learned there are other tour companies that offer this tour. I wish I had known earlier. I strongly recommend using one of them. I learned if things go awry that is their responsibility, they will assume none of it.

Discovering Irland for the first time

This day trip from Dublin to Northern Ireland was an excellent experience. The combination of rich historical context and stunning landscapes, enhanced by beautiful weather, made it truly memorable. Although the journey can be long, the guide’s engaging commentary ensured the time passed quickly and pleasantly. We had an absolutely amazing time on this day trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging which helped passed the time on the bus super quickly. He took time to speak with us all individually several times throughout the trip. Can’t recommend enough!

Wij hebben deze vakantie 2 Wild Rover tours gedaan en we kunnen het alleen maar aanraden! Onze gids Daniel, deed het super goed, heel aangenaam in omgang en veel informatie op een luchtige manier gebracht. Ook onze buschauffeur John deed het heel goed. Deze trip is een echte aanrader. Ook bij onze trip enkele dagen geleden, hebben Niamh en Steven ons enorm goed begeleid! De Wild Rover tours zijn zeker de moeite en zeker het geld waard!

Worth Doing!

Great experience! Rory was an informative and funny guide, and Marco navigated the tour bus with precision through the narrow Northern Ireland country roads. The tour took us to Northern Ireland and the site where the Titanic was built and then on to Dunluce Castle and Giant's Causeway on the northern coast. Be sure to bring a heavy rain jacket with a hoodie even in August! (I had one but it wasn't heavy enough to fully protect me from the coastal winds and occasional rain.) The tour allows a good amount of time at all three stops, and Rory was always clear about how long we had to explore and when the bus would be back to begin loading. He also had a massive knowledge of Irish history and culture with which he entertained us during the drive. The bus had device charging available, so bring a charging cable to connect a tablet or phone, although the wifi was a little spotty at times. Definitely would recommend Wild Rover tours again!

Great day trip to Kilkenny and Glendalough

Paul was a fantastic guide and host - excellent knowledge with some dad (grandad) jokes thrown in Pete did awesome job of getting us there and back safe and sound And of course the Lambs Could have done with a bit more time in Kilkenny - will just have to come back Highly recommend

Recommendations for Belfast tour

hn is the best driver, and the tour showcased the most wonderful and beautiful sights of Ireland and England! The whole experience was absolutely lovely, and the people we met along the way were incredibly kind. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys short hikes it’s the perfect choice for couples, families, and friends alike. A fantastic experience for every type of traveler!

My husband and I both highly recommend this tour. Quiggs our tour guide was informative and engaging. He is passionate about Irish history and shared a wealth of knowledge. The sites were great, make sure to take rain gear, at least in August, and packing a many lunch is a good idea as there was little time to eat. Skip the ride at the Titanic experience as it takes away from your ability to see important parts of the museum. The Giants Causeway is absolutely amazing.

Enjoyed our day with Paul & Pete good mixture of Castles, Cathedral, and the good Hike and park at Glendlough. Bonus is getting to hold a lamb at the sheep farm Would recommend!

Great tour north of Dublin

Rory was a great tour guide. Enjoyed the day! Very much enjoyed Dunluce Castle. Titanic exhibit excellent, too. A little disappointed in Giant’s Causeway, but it is still a must see.

Great day out

Had a great trip with Una and John to Belfast Titanic, Dunluce and the Giant’s Causeway. Pick up was easy; the tour was well organized; Una was entertaining on the long drive back and John drove very safely. First quick stop was to a shopping center for a bathroom break, a chance to get some food and to drop off the members of the group that were doing the Black cab political tour of Belfast. That tour sounded very interesting and we might do that another time if we’re in Ireland again. On our trip Una shared some of her experiences living in Belfast as a child during the troubles as well as explaining Irish folk lore, history and current political situation. The Titanic museum was impressive. There was just enough time to see all the exhibits at the museum, but there was a lot to see and we did move quickly through the first few exhibits- as we wanted to spend more time on the last one. The next stop was Dunluce castle- a quick stop, allowing for another bathroom break and spectacular views of the castle and coastline. We were able to get some hot food at the Pub located at the Giant’s causeway, but opted to wait until we’d walked down the red route (more challenging than the blue route) to the rocks. It was quite challenging and we decided to wait for the shuttle bus to take us back to the visitors center and amenities(the blue route) rather than walk back on the red route. We felt lucky that the weather stayed fine for us as we walked around Dunluce castle and again as we spent a couple hours at the Giant’s Causeway. There was quite a bit of rain while we were driving, but we saw a beautiful rainbow on the way back to Dublin which felt appropriate on our drive around Ireland.

Trip to the Titanic Museum and Giants Causeway!!

This tour was fantastic! Sean was our guide and Michael our bus driver. Sean is an absolute fountain of information and he delivers it in a totally engaging manner. Michael is a fantastic driver and the trip to and from Belfast and the Giants Causeway was trouble free! If this is the quality of guide that wild Rover Tours have then I’m assuming all of their tours are just wonderful! I am unfortunately not able to take another tour on this trip in Ireland but when I come back to Ireland, I would definitely like to take another one! Five stars for this tour, guide, driver, and company!

Medieval Ireland, Stunning landscapes, and Unforgettable, Unique Experiences

I really enjoyed the short guided tours of the places we visited and that this tour allowed enough time to choose our own adventure in Kilkenny & Glendalough. The biggest highlight was Cullen’s sheep farm. This is something we would never have experienced without this tour. My daughters loved holding the baby lamb and watching Spot, the sheepdog, and Farmer Cullen work together was amazing!

Very enjoyable and pleasant!

I went on a tour of the Wicklow mountains Glendalough and Collin's farm I had a great time, the guide John and driver Peter were kind and cheerful, always taking care of us and delivered very interesting tour of Kilkenny and Glendalough. The sweet visit to the sheepdog and the farm concluded the day perfectly. I'd definitely recommend the tour!
