Experience is as advertised, liked it because it went to Limerick vs. Galway which I'd already visited. King John Castle in Limerick is impressive.

Beautiful day

Eve (guide) and Sarah (driver) were amazing. Eve was such a great story teller, friendly and took care of us. Sarah was a great driver, driving through the small roads is no joke and she maneuvered it effortlessly. We had a great day and weather. Lots of things to do.

We were disappointed

We took the tour on August 14th. The operator was Wild Rover Tours, and we were disappointed. We arrived first, as we wanted to get good seats, but the driver assigned them to us in a very rude manner. The tour guide said the first two rows were reserved for guests with special needs, but she gave them to the last people to arrive. At the first stop, the driver counted the passengers; he was three people short. In his haste, he pushed me, spilled my coffee on my pants, and didn't even stop to apologize. Furthermore, his comment was very discourteous to the elderly people who arrived three minutes late. It's a long trip, and the roads are fast and narrow. The driver drove far too fast for us; he didn't slow down at all. It seems he started the tour just to finish it. The weather was good in Burren National Park, and they didn't try to stop, but there were other tours buses parked there. The Cliffs of Moher and Galway are well worth a visit; they're very picturesque. The day before, we took a tour to Belfast with Finn McCools Tours, and the difference was remarkable.

I've been on this tour and others before with competitors. Ian. The guild tour was the best I've seen. He was very informative the whole trip, and kept checking to see if everyone was doing okay on the bus. And even at the destinations, where other guilds just leave you on your own and only tell you what time to meet back at the bus for departures. And Darren was the excellent bus driver. I would highly recommend this tour and these two Wildrover representatives to everyone.

Amazing experience at the Cliffs

The tour was fantastic! Our guide, Cristian, led us throughout the day, sharing facts about Irish history and our surroundings with unique enthusiasm and professionalism. Thanks also to the driver, Joe, he was excellent too, and also the coach was very confortable. Highly recommended; it was a wonderful experience.

Northern Coast is Beautiful; Tour Recommendations

Northern Coast Gorgeous - MUST see region of Ireland. Tour guide, Eoin (Viking 108) very welcoming! Enjoyed historical recount and mythological stories he shared. Tour itself Good. Recommendations for improvement: -comfort stop @ Belfast shopping mall offers limited toilets & limited, over priced food options; consider changing to gas station en route to coast as with other Viator tours -increase time spend @ Dunluce Castle (only 30 minutes provided - beautiful site & felt rushed) -combine cliff walk for all tourists (red trail, upper, descend to blue trail, lower upon return) -driver safety concerns

Fun trip!

Great trip. Not too expensive. Owen was a great guide. We had plenty of time at each location, enough to see everything we wanted. Didn’t go on the walking tour in Belfast just did our own exploring. Great time overall

Fantastic Day with Wild Rover Tours and Murphy!

This was an absolutely fantastic day with Wild Rover Tours, and a huge part of what made it so enjoyable was our driver and guide, Murphy. Murphy was funny, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. He kept us entertained throughout the long day with great stories, Irish history, local insights, and plenty of humor without ever feeling like he was talking at us. He was also spot on with the timing, making sure we had enough time at each stop while keeping the entire day running smoothly. The Cliffs of Moher were absolutely awesome — easily one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. Murphy did a great job getting us there with plenty of time to explore and take in the views. One of the things I especially appreciated was how Murphy handled lunch. Rather than having everyone waste valuable sightseeing time sitting around waiting for food, he arranged things so we could get lunch efficiently and still have plenty of time to walk around and explore Ennis. That made a big difference on a busy day. We also got to see Limerick along the way, which was a great bonus and gave us an even better feel for the Irish countryside and cities beyond Dublin. This is a long day, but Murphy made the hours on the coach enjoyable and made the entire experience feel organized, relaxed, and fun. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. Five stars for Wild Rover Tours and especially Murphy! If you're considering this tour, I would absolutely recommend it — and if you get Murphy as your driver and guide, you're in for a great day. 🇮🇪🍀

I recommend this if you prefer a slightly shorter trip, but in any case, you should experience all the trips they offer. It was really great. Thank you!

Great Tour

Excellent experience. The Cliffs of Moher were great to see, the ride between the cliffs to Galway show some amazing land features and rocks. The tour guide (Christian) was excellent and Joe the driver guided the bus through some tight roads safely.

Best tour and guides.

Dave and Michael we the best guides. We were so pleased to be on their tour. Michael navigated the winding, narrow roads with ease and smoothly. Dave provided so much historic information and was a great personality. This tour was perfectly planned out and timed well. Would highly recommend to anyone and would do again myself.

Dolly kept Dave in line and focused on entertaining us, while Michael showed off his steady hands at the wheel.

Dave, Dolly (the purple sheep), and Michael were fantastic and took great care of us. Michael as far as I can tell is a stellar driver - and somehow manages to put up with Dave, the self-described dodgy guide. A good duo, keeping us both entertained, and informed of both historical events and places of significance on the journey to Kilkenny. Dave is either well versed in local history or a good storyteller. Or both! He's hard to stump, always a quick witted reply or anecdote to share. The sheep dog demonstration, just before reaching Glendalough was quite good. A little of Irish country life. Highly recommend chatting with the farm owner, he's a wealth of information from a different perspective. Glendalough itself was a quaint (in a good way) little town with big history - I won't spoil it for you! A nice leg stretch up and around the little lake, then back on the bus... ... on the way to Kilkenny City. A place that feels more Irish at first glance than Dublin (apologies, no offense to anyone - we didn't explore enough of Dublin!). Busy streets; we were there during it's annual arts festival - but a nice atmosphere, lots of history to dig into. I'd recommend this tour crew, if you want a good time for a few hours/day outing!

We had an amazing experience on the Cliffs of Moher and Galway tour from Dublin today with Julia as our guide and JR as our driver. Julia was absolutely fantastic — she shared so many great history, culture, and local stories throughout the day with superb music list, and her energy made the trip even more enjoyable. JR was an excellen keeping everything smooth and safe the whole way. The bus was nice and comfortable. The views at the cliffs were absolutely breathtaking, and Galway was lively, colorful, and full of charm. I highly recommend this trip for those who have an extra day to spare for a daytrip!

This is a long day, but...

This is a long day, but worth it to see the Cliffs of Moher without having to drive ourselves on Corkscrew road. We also enjoyed the towns of Ennis and Limerick. Our guide John was very knowledgeable and gave us a very in depth history of Ireland throughout the ages. The seats on the bus line were very comfortable which was also nice because it is a long ride across the country!
