Another great Wild Rover tour

What a wonderful tour. Besides all the beautiful scenery and visiting historic places like Kilkenny castle, the guide David was very informative and entertaining, including nice live musical interludes. At the end he also provided recommendations for restaurants, places for live music and places of interest to visit. The driver Darren was also a very nice person and a great driver. All in all, a great trip from beginning to end.

This is an absolutely...

This is an absolutely beautiful and well organized tour. Seeing the sights including the breathtaking views of west Ireland along with the expert driving of the coach is both fantastic and comfortable. Mega props to Eve and Stephen for making this the most enjoyable, educating, and fun coach trip we've ever been on. Eve has a very realistic and intelligent take on Irish history and the sights you will see. Absolutely fantastic.

Great Day

Our guide John was great and even provided us with some Irish songs played on his yukele while he sang! Great voice. Our visit to Mr Cullens sheep farm was our highlight. Also hats off to our awesome driver Lisa.

Great trip and sights

The trip an sights were great, but the tour guide talked way too much between destinations. Kilkenny was beautiful and the sheep farm was very interesting.

Great Day

Loved the sheep dog demonstration at Mr Cullens Sheep Farm ! John was a great guide and even played some Irish tunes on his yukele and sang with his beautiful voice! Our driver Lisa (I think) was also awesome. Kilkenny was also beautiful. Be sure to check out the Hole in the Wall!!

Tour Guide & Driver for the WIN

Aside from the epic views at the Cliffs, the trip highlight was the tour guide and driver. Hands down. Stephen & Stephen? Or Stephen & Jimmy? I can't remember exactly. However they were amazing 👏 and deserve all the accolades.

10/10 trip

Bus departed promptly at 7am. Our tour guide Brain and driver Podge were amazing. There was a great little history lesson on the way to the cliffs that was a good overview of Irish history. There is a comfort break about 90 minutes in at a really nice rest stop. The roads were tight and winding but Podge did an amazing job driving the bus. The restaurant for lunch in Ennis, Knox, was amazing; the beef and Guinness stew was 12/10. Every admission fee was covered by the tour and we walked right into everything seamlessly. There were some crowds at Bunratty castle that made it difficult to go up and down the stairs. This tour would be best for children over the age of 10 and I would caution anyone with mobility issues from entering the stairs at Bunratty castle. It was very small and steep. However over all it was an amazing experience and wonderful tour, 15/10 would do again!

Julia and Joe make a great pair

A great tour but If you want a lot of time in each stop this isn’t it- which we knew. It’s enough for a quick hike up the cliffs or meal in Galway that’s it. However, Julia and Joe were a great pair. Julia had so much information to share and Joe navigated the roads well. Both were friendly and bubbly. Only negative is the WiFi was iffy. Also- don’t let the lack of bathroom be a deterrent to you if you can hold a couple hours. There are two stops in the longer portions of travel so you can get a chance to get off and go to the bathroom.

Highly Recommend

We went on the tour 10th October and had a great time. Really well organised, Brian and Sarah who were our guides/driver were fab and the trip was great value for money. Highly recommend!

Julia and Joe made a great pair

Booked the tour last minute and it wasn’t full. The bus, however, was. Every seat from the beginning, and that was a bit tight at first. However, the tour guide Julia did a great job of keeping us entertained and keeping us on schedule. Joe kept us on the road and safe. It was a good tour if you don’t mind two hours at these stops- a quick dip in and dip out. It’s not enough to see everything though, so if you’re ok with that then this is for you. Julia has a great amount of recommendations to make the most of your time, and wasn’t pushy with it. We enjoyed our tour. WiFi was spotty at best- really not super reliable. Quick note- although no bathroom on their buses, you do stop during the longer stretches at larger truck/bus stops. You get about 15 for bathroom/food.

We were in Ireland for 5 days, based in Dublin - not enough time to cover outside the city, but we wanted to spend at least one day in the countryside. We chose the Cliffs of Moher, Ennis Town, and Bunratty Castle day tour for this purpose. The drive through the countryside was at least as interesting and gratifying as the three listed tour highlights, and we really enjoyed Knox, the tour guide’s recommended restaurant for lunch in Ennis.
