Excellent Tour Guide, but Disappointing Bus Driver Experience

We had Brendan as our tour guide, and he was absolutely amazing. He kept everyone engaged with his entertaining commentary on the surroundings, as well as his knowledge of Irish history. He really added to the experience and was a class tour guide. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the bus driver, Sylvie. His attitude towards passengers was extremely disappointing. He repeatedly interrogated people about whether they were back at the bus on time—even when they were only a minute late, or in some cases, not late at all. In our case, we were actually back at the bus early, yet we were still berated. We had also been told that the tour was running ahead of schedule. At one point, he told us that he “had a life”, which I found completely inappropriate and unnecessary. The constant pressure and criticism about timings really took away from what should have been an enjoyable experience. I left feeling quite upset and disheartened, particularly as we had done exactly what was asked of us. Brendan was an excellent guide and deserves great credit, but unfortunately, the bus driver’s attitude significantly affected our overall experience. I would strongly encourage the tour company to address this, as this kind of behaviour could ultimately cost them future business.

Excellent Trip

Mick and Patrick were fantastic. They were fun and entertaining. Patrick played his personal musical instruments and sang some songs along the way. Very knowledgeable guides. Would highly recommend Wild Rover tours.

Traveling to the cliffs

The trip was excellent and the tour guide knew his stuff. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone traveling to the cliffs

Fantastic day

First stop was the Titanic which was great as it was before the crowds. Then we saw the castle which was interesting and finished was the coast. The nice thing about the trip was the comfort stops.

West is best with them

I can recommend the tour to everybody visiting Ireland. I went with Christian, the guide and Steven, the driver. They showed beautiful part of Ireland to us. Unfortunately, the weather didn't permit good views of Cliffs of Moher, but somehow driving along the Burren- wild Atlantic way made up for that. Galway appeared to be a really quaint town, where international festival is taking place right now, so it was vibrant, colorful and full of music. Steven navigated the bus skilfully and Christian acquainted us with the history of Ireland along the way with wit and humor.

Wild Rover was extremely accommodating and communicative throughout our trip! All their staff t lovely and knowledgeable about anything we asked. We had a great time on our trip to the cliffs, Galway and returning to Dublin. Thank you Stephan and Casper!

Great but long

This tour was fun, but a very long day. About the time we made it to Belfast, we were exhausted and ready to go back, a lot of time on the bus, however what we learned was great, and our drivers were amazing. Top notch!

L’esperienza di per se è stata piacevole, i luoghi visitati sono stati interessanti ed è stato un tour tranquillo, se non fosse stato per il guidatore Krishna. Sin dal primo momento ha avuto un atteggiamento molto antipatico e ostile: appena arrivata, in maniera molto sgorbutica non mi ha lasciato posare lo zaino nel bus (mezzo vuoto), dicendo che non potevo lasciarlo sul bus per andare a comprare la colazione a fianco al meeting point (durante la giornata, tutti lasciavano le proprie cose nel bus). Successivamente, dopo la prima sosta non riuscivamo a ritrovare il parcheggio del bus (poiché ce n’erano diversi), motivo per il quale abbiamo fatto 5 minuti d’orologio di ritardo. Questo è stato motivo di minacce ed insulti da parte del guidatore Krishna. Questa cosa ci ha completamente rovinato l’esperienza, continuando a ricevere ramanzine e frecciatine immotivate fino alla fine del tour. Detto cio, l’esperienza è consigliata grazie alla guida (di cui non ricordo il nome, ragazzo col codino). Spero che voi non incontriate Krishna.

Oh em geeeee what a fantastic experience this was! Stipe and Matt were awesomes tour guide and driver duo. There chemistry was Pover the hills!! These two be DUBLIN the fun 🤣🤣🤣🤣!!

Went on the Cliffs of Moher and Galway tour. The driver, Mick, did an excellent job. The guide, Padhraig, was also excellent, giving history stories, pointing out features along the way, and even playing music. It’s clear they enjoy what they do and it made for a great trip!

Such a great experience, highly recommended! Padhraig was the best guide, super funny and took time to walk us through interesting bits of Irish history and gave out recommendations and help all throughout the journey; and Mick is a great driver, I suffer from motion sickness and it all went smoothly even if I sat in the back of the bus. Organisation was great as well, we respected the schedule. The cliffs? Breathtaking. Couldn’t leave Ireland without seeing them ❤️

Tourguide Padhraug and driver Mick were incredible. They made the long drive enjoyable with their quick wit and humor. I especially enjoyed the instruments the tourguide played- he is talented and good natured showing no hesitation to help or to offer recommendations on places to visit.
