If you are in Dublin for a few days, it is certainly worth spending one day to see places outside the capital that you will not see in Dublin. Kilkenny, a medieval gem with a unique atmosphere, the stunning Wicklow hills and finally a real treasure - the Glendalough reserve. David is a guide like no other, full of sense of humor and passion. His vocal talents and interesting stories exceeded our imagination. The driver John is a handsome guy straight from Braveheart. Thank you very much, greetings from Lublin.

The Tour to the Cliffs of Moher by this Tour agency was simply superb. Our guide John and bus driver John were the best. John was so knowledgeable, patient and eloquent in his explanations and even gave a detailed history of Ireland! The best guide one could hope for and the safest driver one could experience Congratulations and a big thank you

We took a 13-hour tour from Dublin out to Western Ireland - the Cliffs of Moher and Galway. The trip was very long, but really quite incredible. The driver of the coach bus (Stephen) was an excellent driver, and instilled confidence in his ability to navigate the narrow and winding roads. The tour guide (David H) was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He sang us songs (don't worry, he's a great singer!) and provided very interesting tidbits and stories about Irish history and landmarks. The weather was a bit foggy and Galway was quite rainy, but nothing the tour guides could help. Our bus was not full, and we were lucky enough on that topic, as David stopped by each row on the bus at least two times for personal conversations and questions, as well as personalized recommendations for us tourists to visit in both Galway and Dublin. Overall it was an excellent experience. The only cons I would list is the length of the trip (13 hours is a very long day), and the foggy weather. None of those are in any way controllable by Wild Rover though, but they are something future tourists may need to consider before booking. 10/10, would absolutely recommend to anyone

Unforgettable tour with David and John! We expected a basic bus trip, but it turned into a full experience packed with history, culture, comedy, and live music. From start to finish they kept us laughing, learning, and singing along. We got little walking tours at each stop, with amazing stories, local legends, and tips for the best food spots. They showed us secret places, hidden views, and even sang beautifully with a guitar on board — pure Irish magic! ✨ At the end, we visited adorable lambs and sheep, which warmed our hearts. 🐑 They also gave great suggestions for places to eat and drink after, and even mentioned they’d be heading into town too! The whole day felt like a mix of theatre, history, nature, and friendship. Warm, funny, talented, and full of heart — this tour is a must. Thank you David & John for the laughs, music, and memories! 10/10 would do it again! 🚌🎶☘️📸🍀

We did 3 of the offered tours. Kevin and Stipe on the tour (30/3/25) to the Giant’s Causeway were AMAZING. Kevin took great care of us and communicated the schedule and timing perfectly. Two days later (1/4/25) we went to Galway with Eve and Pete. It was…different. Pete, the driver, was seating people on the bus and when I asked for a motion sickness seat (labeled on certain seats), I was told no with an eye roll and was told to “sit here already!” The family behind me sat themselves in the motion sickness seats and he tried to get them to move back. They refused politely and said that they all get sick. He rolled his eyes, grunted, and waved his hands at them. We were all silent the whole way to our stop (as directed) and were nervous of getting yelled at…the directions of when the bus would be leaving were clearly communicated to us…but that’s about the extent of what we were told to expect. There were stories along the way, but it didn’t feel the same at all. BUT 2 days after that (3/4/25), we did the Kilkenny tour with Liam and Kieth (sp?) and it was fabulous!! Liam was spectacular and took great care of us! If I rating them separately, it would be 5 stars, 3 stars, then 5 stars. Thankfully, Kevin and Liam made up for the weirdness of the other tour!

I had a fantastic trip with Brian and Leo to see the Cliffs of Moher and Galway. The bus was completely packed but I managed to get through it. Brian and Leo were informative, friendly and made the experience top notch. Highly recommend.

We had the absolute best experience with Wild Rover Tours on back-to-back days, and we can’t recommend them highly enough! On April 1st, we took the Belfast, Dunluce Castle, and Giant’s Causeway tour with Dave and JP. They were fantastic—so knowledgeable, entertaining, and engaging. Every stop was breathtaking, and they made the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations. On April 2nd, we toured Kilkenny, Glendalough, Wicklow, and the Laragh Sheep Dog Trial with Yvonne and Marsienne. They were absolutely wonderful, especially with our 5-year-old daughter. They went out of their way to make her feel special, and the highlight of her day was finding a surprise left by the “Easter Bunny” on her seat when we returned to the bus. It was such a kind and thoughtful touch that made the experience even more magical for her (and for us!). Both tours were seamless, well-paced, and filled with unforgettable sights and moments. We made so many special memories as a family, and it wouldn’t have been the same without the incredible guides who brought everything to life. Thank you, Wild Rover Tours, for an amazing experience—we will cherish these memories forever!

The sites we saw were amazing. The guide was great. The driver was spot on in the hilly country with really small roads. Much thanks to Ian and Peter for making our day great.

We were thrilled to discover the Cliffs of Moher. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side. The conditions were so poor that we couldn’t see anything at all, which was a major disappointment. Fortunately, we went to Galway, but our time there was too short. We barely had enough time to eat and take a brief tour of the city. A suggestion would be to adjust the visit schedules in case of bad weather. The highlight of our tour is our guide, Yvonne, who was very friendly !

The tour guides were great. The weather was awful, we couldn’t stay outside for more than a few minutes so having two hours at the cliffs was a waste. I would suggest, if the weather is unbearable like that again, cutting down the cliff time to an hour and spending the extra hour in Galway, at least there are shops there you can take shelter in, or having some kind of contingency plan for poor weather that involves less time outside
