I had 2 lovely tours. One to Kilkeny and David and Pete were amazing! David, the tour guide, even had a couple of Irish songs prepared and presented them with his ukulele. It was great! Also very knowledgable and all went smoothly. The other tour went to Belfast and the Giant's causeway. It was the budget tour. I didn't like that it was only the driver and no additional staff from Wild Rover Tours. He did very well, but I think 2 people are better. I wouldn't recommend doing the Belfast tour on a Sunday. The city was very quiet. But it was still great!!

We did not like the tour but that had to do with our preferences. There was nothing fun or exciting. If you are older and prefer to just do a “walking” tour, then this is for you. But I have 2 kids and the last thing they want is to walk aimlessly and listen to someone. There was no fun discovery, no adventure, nothing exciting. Just buildings and trees. Not our cup of tea.

Our flight to Dublin was delayed and we were not able to make the tour. I informed the tour company and simply asked to be moved to the next day (not a refund). They were not able to accommodate, so we booked their competitor for the next day. There were four full size Rover busses leaving from the same place we left the next day, so it seems they likely could have moved us but simply were not willing. A bit disappointing, but their competitor did a great job on the tour we got to take (with basically the same itinerary). Bottom line, even with circumstances out of your control don’t expect any accommodations from Rover.

We had the best day trip from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway City with Wild Rover!! Our guide, Stephen, was knowledgeable, funny, and provided great recommendations at all the stops. Pete was a safe and kind driver. We learned a lot about Ireland’s history and culture, and loved Stephen’s personal anecdotes and storytelling. All the stops had perfect timing and organization (never felt rushed). We were heavily debating if the day trip would be worth it only being in Dublin for a short time, but it definitely was!!! We are so glad we went - thank you Stephen and Pete for such a memorable trip!

Wild Rover Tours is a fantastic tour company. There is one person who I was lucky enough to get on 2 of my 3 tours that made my experience amazing. His name is Daithi. His personality and stories were fantastic. He also gave us advice and suggestions to enhance our Ireland experience. He is a gem and I am so blessed to meet this wonderful man who I now consider a friend 🍀

I did 2 tours during my stay in Dublin, one going to the Cliffs of Moher/Bunratty Castle and another to Kilkenny/Glendalough. Both tours were super fun - Dermot was a very personable and friendly tour guide who had lots of interesting factoids to share on the trip, and clearly loves what he does and he helped make the trip a lot of fun. Not to mention he was a safe driver, so no need to worry about that. The prices were quite reasonable as well, especially considering all you get on these trips, so I couldn't recommend it enough to those who want to see the Irish countryside and avoid the logistical hassles that can come with it!

This tour was incredible ! I had the best day with Daithi and Jo ! They really brought the a beautiful chemistry to the trip and the stories Daithi told were amazing ! I felt so safe and had so much fun! The bus was really comfortable too ! All the stops were amazing ! 10/10 would recommend!

Overall, this was a great way of seeing Belfast while based in Dublin. A few notes: -The coffee shop we stopped at in the morning was bad. Plan breakfast ahead or bring it with you. -Black Cab Tour >>> Titanic. The personal history you'll get from the Black Cab is an opportunity you shouldn't miss. -The red trail on the Giant's Causeway was not too difficult and totally worth it - stunning views above the causeway for marginally more challenging walking. Unless specifically going down stairs is difficult, most people could manage. -There was plenty of time for lunch at the Nook at the Giant's Causeway stop, though it was pricy. -Not a lot of time at the rest stop on the way home. Good for the bathroom, but not a meal or snacks. I'd pack some! Una was a great tour guide and Krishna drove us well. It was clear they knew the logistics of the trip inside and out and made sure we got what we needed at each place.

I recently did both the Belfast / Giant's Causeway and Cliffs of Moher / Galway City bus tours during a trip to Ireland in March 2025. This was my first time travelling with a bus day tour, and both tours surpassed my expectations! I am in my mid-30s and was travelling with two friends, and found these tours to be the perfect way to see all of the sights, get lots of historical context and local information, have plenty of time to explore at your own pace, and cover a lot of ground with minimal handling of logistics (they sort out everything for you!). I particularly recommend the Black Cab tour in Belfast - it was a very meaningful experience. I appreciate the guides' efforts to keep things engaging - our Belfast tour guide via a trivia game at the end of the day to ensure we retained all of the fun facts we'd learned, and our Galway tour guide via his own live music performances! I highly recommend Wild Rover Tours if you're looking for fun, engaging, well-organized day trips from Dublin.

We took two Wild Rover tours, one Belfast day trip and one Galway. Both were absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend EVERYONE visiting Ireland to book a trip! On our Belfast trip, Michael and Maurice took such good care of us, adding true Irish charm and knowledge to the day and providing us with laughs and excellent recommendations. Lunch at the Giant's Causeway was truly magical! On the Galway trip, Joe and Kevin made sure we got to see the best of the West coast, and the Galway area is lovely to explore! I enjoyed Kevin's little quiz at the end of the trip and was amazed by the confidence Joe had going along the narrow, curving country roads. Having a dedicated guide AND driver make the Wild Rover tours so wonderful, you know you are taken care of!
