Ian and JP our tour guide and driver for the day were exceptional. Ian is a walking talking history book and hands-down, one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I’ve ever had. He knew so much about all the places we visited, and honestly, it would not have been the experience it was if it wasn’t for him. None of us would’ve had a clue what we were looking at, and why we were looking at it.! this was a wonderful tour from the monastic settlement to the sheepdog demonstration which oh my gosh, the baby lambs!!! I loved everything about this tour. It made my trip.

Great tour team and a wonderful day

This was a really great tour experience. Stephen O'Malley was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable about Irish history, funny and entertaining, and very communicative. Driver Warren Doyle did a fantastic job of keeping us safe on curvy Irish roads. This is a well-laid itinerary with the considerations of the passenger's comfort and time thoroughly planned. The Giant's Causeway is absolutely beautiful and Is honestly I'd take this trip for that alone, the other locations are just the cherry on top. Prepare for rain and wind, wear comfy shoes that can withstand slick surfaces. Cold beverages and snacks are acceptable to bring with you. Adequate stops for coffee are also worked in. There were USB ports above each seat so it you bring a charger, make sure it's long enough. It is a long day, but well worth the trip.

Fun tour

Amazing tour with Ian and Krishna for the Kilkenny/Glendalough. It’s my 3rd day with Wild Rover Tours and they did not disappoint. It’s very entertaining and our tour guides were very accommodating and knowledgeable. I’m coming back and will book with you guys again!

Great one day trip for family.

Great tour. Easy going for a family of 6. Insightful, enjoyable and not heavy explanations by Ian. Historic building, ruins, nature, and a fun closing with the sheep dog.

Really great way to see...

Really great way to see country side and hear some history about Northern Ireland. Well worth the money. Our guide David was great, even sang us some songs!

Great Adventure for a Solo Traveller

This tour was the highlight of my solo trip to Dublin! So many people said to me that if you visit Dublin, it’s good to get out of the city. This was the perfect way to do just that! Our tour guide Dave was absolutely brilliant and was so welcoming to me as a solo traveller. I also made friends with a fellow solo-er on the coach which was lovely! But yeah, I can’t thank Dave enough for bringing the absolute best vibes to the day and sharing so much interesting information about where we went and the places we drove past. And shout out to Paolo for his amazing driving skills through the winding roads of the wild Atlantic way! Legends! The Cliffs of Moher was gorgeous but extremely cold, windy and rainy! Bring a good quality rain jacket! The rain did stop towards the end but defo be prepared for any kind of weather. We then drove to Galway via the Wild Atlantic way which had the most gorgeous views, I’ve also never seen so many farm animals! Well done to Paolo again for driving like a pro through the difficult roads. I will say for those who are prone to motion sickness do be prepared! I personally was fine and luckily am not prone, but my new pal struggled quite a bit! I would advise you arrive to the pick up point really early at the start of the day to bag a window seat. We then arrived in Galway! I think we had maybe just under 2ish hours there which does go quite quick as it’s ideal to grab food at this stop as well. But Dave did mention that this tour spends the longest amount of time in Galway than other tours! So we grabbed some food, and I had time to buy a Claddagh ring from Thomas Dillon and walk around the town a little before heading back to the coach and heading home. We also stopped at a plaza on the way there in the morn, and the way back for a toilet/food break. All in all a fantastic day and I can’t recommend Wild River enough. Don’t mind the long review, as a solo traveller it might help others who are unsure about what to expect and going alone. Book the tour! You won’t regret it :)

We booked the day tour to Kilkenny, Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains, plus the sheep farm at the end. Ian, our tour guide and JP our driver were brilliant! JP navigated the narrow roads with ease and got us to all the stops in the perfect time. Ian was so informational and had the best facts and even entertaining dad jokes. We loved all of his commentary and appreciated all the knowledge he shared at every stop and during the drive as well. We enjoyed having ample time at each stop and really liked that we didn't feel rushed at all. Ian's brief guided tour at the beginning of the stops is highly recommended, but very optional! He does a good job at giving a lay of the land though and provides some ideas for how to spend your time at the stop. The sheep farm at the end was such a unique experience, too! Worth every penny! Loved this tour and 100% recommend this tour company to everyone!

Один момент не сподобався, що автобус запізнився на півгодини і ніхто нам нічого не казав, ми просто стояли і чекали, що хтось приїде, але вже й почали планувати, що поїздка не відбудеться. Але, все пройшло чудово, і цей невеликий інцидент не зіпсував нам подорож. John гід просто супер, крутезне почуття гумору, дуже любязний та уважний до кожного туриста. Рекомендую одночасно.

We did the cliffs of moher tour with Stephen and Steven. Highly recommend. 10/10 you will not regret it. The full day was jam packed and covered so much ground. Well organized timing, stops, views. Steven, guide, is HILARIOUS, and will have you laughing the whole time.

Wonderful tour experience! If you are lucky enough to have Stephen and Stephen as your guides you are in for a treat. Cliffs of Moher, Galway, drive through the national park AND a (free) comedy show. They are entertaining and informative and just a real good time!
