The tour was very nice,...
The tour was very nice, the cliffs of Moher are breathtaking. Ennis is a nice little town and we had a good lunch there. Limerick is a beautiful city on the River Shannon and we spent most of our time there exploring King John’s Castle. The only downside to the trip was that it was a 13 hour day. The driver was excellent and gave us a real idea of Orish history.

Wonderful and educational tour. Kevin was very knowledgeable about all things Ireland and even gives humerous local slang to describe stuff! I was even given bandaids when the need arose!

Magnificent day! Kevin and Warren were wonderful hosts for us and were very helpful! We loved listening to the history and stories of Northern Ireland!

Amazing tour!
Josh and Billy were an amazing team. Josh was very engaging with the group and shared a ton of interesting stories. The views from the Cliffs of Moher are breathtaking. It can get crowded with other tours, so plan your walk or trip to the gift shop/visitor center accordingly. There are clear paths and sidewalks, but be prepared for high winds, rain, and cold temperatures. Galway was adorable; I wish we had more time. Make sure to check out the marketplace! Before getting back on the bus, I highly recommend grabbing a coffee and pastry from The Bake Box (https://bakeboxtogo.com/). The selection of sweet and savory items was incredible. Views along the Wild Atlantic Way were amazing. Be mindful if you tend to get motion sickness; roads are very narrow! (Which is why we chose a tour instead of driving.) It is a tight itinerary, so it's really important to be on time after each stop! Overall, this was a wonderful experience and a great way to explore the west coast of Ireland. Bring a decent raincoat and waterproof shoes. A beanie might help, too! Thanks to our guide, driver, and team at Wild Rover Tours!

Niamh and Pete were fantastic for this tour! Great soundtrack and wonderful tidbits of info shared on this trip. Niamh is such a lovely lady and a breath of fresh air! Pete hails from Gallway so it was great to have someone going “home” driving us on his tour! Couldn’t have asked for a better duo to have us explore during the best weather for the cliffs and hallway!

Great experience
A lot of walking and climbing uphill. Definitely wear sneakers. Dress in layers. Start off cold but you slowly get warm. Luckily we had the most amazing weather with abundant sunshine. Had it been raining and windy it wouldn’t have been a good day. There’s a cafe to eat and sit down. Also, there’s an ice cream truck part way up the trail. The views are spectacular

We had an amazing day on this tour! It was such a fun experience from start to finish. Our tour guide Josh was fantastic—super engaging, full of great Ireland facts, and made the long drive really enjoyable. Our driver Sarah was excellent as well—smooth, safe driving and very friendly. We especially appreciated all the tips Josh shared, from how to make the most of our time at the Cliffs of Moher to great shopping recommendations for Galway. It made a big difference in our experience. The bus was clean, comfortable, and perfect for the day. We also got lucky with sunny weather, which made everything even better. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely fantastic day visiting the Cliffs of Moher and Galway—easily one of the highlights of our Ireland trip. The weather couldn’t have been better, with sunshine and just a touch of clouds, making the views even more stunning. A big shoutout to our guide Josh and driver Sarah for making the experience truly memorable. Josh was engaging, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor—sharing fascinating stories about the region, from historic castles and charming thatched cottages to centuries-old churches along the way. Sarah handled the narrow, winding roads with complete ease, so we could just sit back, relax, and soak in the beautiful Irish countryside. Yes, it’s a long day, but it’s absolutely worth it. The time at the Cliffs of Moher was perfect to take in the breathtaking scenery, and Galway was a lovely stop for a relaxed lunch and a bit of exploring. The entire trip was smooth, well-organized, and thoughtfully paced with convenient stops. Highly recommend this tour if you want a stress-free, scenic, and enriching way to experience the west of Ireland!

Aaron (tour guide) and...
Aaron (tour guide) and Davy (driver) gave us a spectacular trip to the cliffs of Moher. We learned so much information about Irish history and they also had great humor. Davy's driving was incredible and I felt safe the entirety of the trip. Highly recommend taking this day trip !

The Cliffs of Moher are a must see in Ireland! This tour was wonderful and our guide Julia was very friendly and made sure everyone's questions were answered wich is very impressive on such a full tour bus! Visiting the city of Galway was also a great part of the tour. There are plenty of cute shops and cafes to spend your time in durng this stop. We got plenty of history of Ireland and saw some amazing views! Would definitely recommend.

This was an excellent experience at a great price point! Maurice and JP were excellent guides and so knowledgeable. Great views, must see stops, and holding baby lambs. What more could you ask for!

We had an incredible time...
We had an incredible time touring with David! He did a fantastic job of bringing the history of the area to life, keeping us completely engaged and entertained from start to finish. Beyond being knowledgeable, he was exceptionally polite and went out of his way to give us great recommendations for other spots to visit during our stay. I would definitely recommend him.

Great Day Trip for Nature Lovers
Amazing host and driver. Wicklow mountains are GORGEOUS!! The sheep farm is awesome and the farmer, Richie, is wonderful to speak with. Absolutely would recommend as a day trip from Dublin!

This tour was a pleasant...
This tour was a pleasant experience, but the weather could have been better. Thankfully we had Stephen O’Malley as our guide who more than made up for it. As we drove around from the sites, Stephen engaged with us telling local/national history and played famous Irish songs. He was knowledgeable, provided general recommendations, and specific recommendations for people who asked or wanted to see something specific while we were in Galway to help make the most of their time there. Thank you!

Amazing experience!
Incredible experience all around. Learned so many facts about the areas we visited which helped make it come alive. Overall I thought it was a near-perfect trip, although more time in Kilkenny would have made it better. The sheep dog demonstration was so cool!!

Fantastic!!
This was our first ever organized tour. We were more than pleased! Ian and Krishna made the day more than we had imagined. They were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly skilled, each in their own role. They were responsible for making the day (our first full day in Ireland together) one of our favourite experiences of a two-week trip. Originally, I had intended to book another trip that included Glendalough and Kilkenny. I was grateful for Viator's more detailed itinerary on the website, as I noticed the other tour allowed just one hour at Glendalough (a place I knew would be a favourite). This tour allowed enough time at each location and was a perfect mix of geography and history, and a fantastic introduction to the landscape and history of the area outside of Dublin. Although the stop at the sheep farm was not high on our list, the farmer and his animals made it a lovely, educational highlight and end to the day. We were so impressed with the Wild Rover Tour. Ian was outstanding, and Krishna was amazing on the roads - we had a front seat and can attest to his talent! We waited to write this review until we were back in Canada... just to make sure our enthusiasm was not due to a "first day" experience. Our day trip with Wild Rover has held up as a true highlight of a full two weeks in Ireland. Thanks so much! Carol and Ben
