What a fantastic day! Our driver, Krishna, needed to work around the Dublin Marathon (no small feat) before getting us on the road and he did so skillfully. He was also great with names, prepared with extra charging cords for those that forgot them, and an all around sound driver. Our guide, John, was excellent. He’s a loud, clear voice, which made it easy to hear the detailed historic recounting he shared with us over the wind and rain and lively Kilkenny food festival. The pace of the day was reasonable, given the delayed start, and the sites (Wicklow Mountains and Kilkenny) were fabulous. It was also great to have a tour that’s a mix of city and rural locations. There’s no shortage of beautiful landscapes, fascinating history, subtle wit, welcoming hospitality in Ireland. If you’re on a tour with these two gentlemen, you’ve a great day ahead of you!

This was a great tour. John was a great tour guide and Krishna was a great driver. We really enjoyed our day. If I had one suggestion I would take 30 minutes from Glendalogh and add it to Kilkenney for a little more time there especially in bad weather as there's not much shelter and the visitor center won't let you in unless you pay extra.

Matt and Aran gave us an informative and entertaining tour from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moyer and Galway and back to Dublin. Matt shared some personal antidotes and history which made the trip very engaging. Thank you for the great day.

Matt and Aran were phenomenal! I have not had any better guides, nor a bus driver, ever. Not only were we supplied a ton of information, we were also very entertained. Matt was hilarious and very pleasant. Aran drove the bus like a pro. The corners this man took and didn’t take someone out was very impressive! Our first stop was at the Cliffs of Moher and they were amazing. I came from Texas to enjoy the fall weather and was not disappointed. It was kind of fun trying not to blow away as the rain hit your face. Next we drove the Wild Atlantic Way on our way to Galway. I loved seeing the Atlantic from the other side! Sad that I couldn’t get out and feel the water. Definitely another trip will have to happen. Our final stop was in Galway. The cobblestone streets lined with shops was a fantastic surprise. I wish we would have had more than two hours but again, another trip to Ireland will have to be planned. If you are creating an itinerary, book a trip with Wild Rover and request a trip with Matt and Aran!

I came to Ireland solo and most say this was the best tour. Our tour guide did an incredible job providing historical context for the towns we past and overall the history of Ireland. We got to visit the Cliffs of Moher for 2 hours then spent 2 hours in Galway.

Today we visited the Cliffs of Moher and the town of Galway. Despite the rain, it was an enjoyable experience with lively stories (shout out to Matt and driver Aran). The Cliffs were windy so if there is a chance of rain- prepare with a rain coat ((the green plastic things they sold there- shredded) or you’ll be wet or some shard of green plastic will whip you in the face. The photo ops we’re ENDLESS- when you think you have the perfect picture, boom- another beautiful opportunity presents itself- this is on an overcast wet day- I can only imagine what a spectacular day would be!! Make sure you do both sides! We then went to the town of Galway- I wish we had more time here! After a satisfying lunch at King Head- don’t skip the Guinness and fish and chips- we didn’t have enough time to explore the town..the stories enroute were relatable and you can tell Matt loves his country and small home town lore. Oh, watch out for fairy trees and definitely push someone is a fairy circle if you don’t like them (wink). Oh, the bus was comfortable…
