We really enjoyed the tour. Julia and Billy were always very friendly and gave great information to help us enjoy the trip. It was possible to see many things, but we would have enjoyed having a little more time in Galway. We really recommend the tour!

My partner and I toured with Matt and Pete on a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway during our 5-day stay in Dublin at the end of December, and I hope everyone is able to experience a tour with them! We hope to come back to experience more tours with Wild Rover. Our day trip with them was the highlight of our trip. Matt is a brilliant tour guide who kept us comfortable and entertained throughout our hours-long commute to each location. He was an engaging storyteller with great comedic timing, historical information, folklore, and personal anecdotes about his experiences in the Irish countryside. He also gave us a glimpse into what life is like in Ireland within and outside of Dublin, pointing out landmarks and sharing with us the importance of Ireland's language as well as its past history of occupation and present independence as a nation in the EU. He also told us how the country is changing with modern times, and it truly felt like traveling with a local and we learned so much about Irish culture. He also played us traditional Irish music as well as a mix of modern Irish music, and it helped immerse us in the experience. Matt also makes an effort to try different cuisines/restaurants to recommend to travelers, including vegan/vegetarian options (despite proclaiming that he is a carnivore) and non-Irish cuisine options, which I found very thoughtful and inclusive. Pete was also a great driver and we felt very safe passing other cars/buses on the narrow roads along the farmland and coastline. Both were very clear on the itinerary. We got 2 hours at the Cliffs of Moher and 2 hours in Galway, and time flew by. I hope they both get a shoutout and raise and an endless supply of nice, creamy pints of Guinness!! Thanks for a memorable and amazing day.

Stephen O’Malley and...

Stephen O’Malley and Darren were absolutely brilliant! Certainly knowledgeable about the entire history of this tour! We learned quite a lot. There was plenty of entertainment including singing, jokes, and safe passage through the narrow ways along this tour. Thanks for sharing your experiences and good humor with us!

Enjoyed the Irish History

We enjoyed the Irish history and songs (yes songs!) played and performed by our tour guide Stephen. He’s a wealth of info! We also had a fantastic skilled driver in JP. Highly recommend! 😁

Great tour! Maurice was a wealth of knowledge and Pete drove like a pro! The sheep/dog experience was equally as impressive as visiting Glendalough and Kilkenny! Would recommend!

Friendly and funny tour...

Friendly and funny tour guide, Steven, he introduced a detailed history during the tour. Also, a big thanks to driver Darren, was a very safe trip. Highly recommend!

This tour was fabulous!!...

This tour was fabulous!! Matt was the guide and Marcin was the driver. The bus ride was great. Matt was perfect. Funny, friendly , helpful and very knowledgeable. My family and I enjoyed it very much!

This was the perfect day...

This was the perfect day tour from Dublin! It was a great mix of history (ancient and modern) and nature. Highlights included the cab ride -- the drivers are men who have lived "The Troubles" and give very personal insight into what it was like to be a child or adolescent during that time. It certainly gave me a new appreciation for this part of history, and helps me to better understand Irish/North Irish experiences.

Our tour guide Stephen and bus driver Pete were fabulous! Knowledgeable, entertaining, and we learned so much about Irish history and culture! Such a beautiful day!! Highly suggest! It was a wonderful day to start 2026!

The tour was great. It was a nice excursion with two beautiful stops. The information given by the guide was really interesting. He also has a great sense of humor. It was a long but comfortable ride. The music made it fun. The Cranberries and Ed Sheeran were my favorites. The guide also takes requests. Thank you for playing a song by Niall Horan!

We got Steven as a guide for the Galway excursion. He seemed nice enough tho unfortunately he spent the entire trip talking exclusively to the front raw. Lucky them, they got a private tour... Not so lucky for the rest of us. Also assumed that I can't speak English because I'm French.

It was a really nice tour a great combination of information about the towns and history. Steven is a wonderful guide with great banter. He is friendly and nice. There was enough time to explore the cliffs and city.

We took rhe day trip from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher with our guide Stephen and driver Pete. Both of them were fantastic! Pete drove smoothly while Stephen kept us entertained and informed with many historical facts and always sharing fun stories and anecdotes, there was not a dull moment. And about the length of the trip and stops, the whole tour was fabulous, if I could change a single thing would maybe have a little more time in Galway, but the stop at the Cliffs was great, strongly recommend booking this tour and company!!
