Rude tour guide
The information on this tour was great and the driver was great. We also took the guided tour of Belfast and that exceeded expectations. However, Maurice, the tour guide was miserable. He treated the tourists as a bad headmaster does misbehaving primary school students. Mostly condescending and annoying, he didn’t listen to the group. The music was too loud and the air conditioning was too low. He lambasted two passengers before we left because they didn’t know what to expect because Maurice didn’t inform any one of what to expect until we were on our way. We were unable to sit together as a party and Maurice couldn’t care less as he aggressively and discourteously demanded everyone take a seat immediately. On the return he asked everyone if they were comfortable. A response of cooler air conditioning was completely ignored as if it wasn’t even spoken. For the price and for just common courtesy he should have been more pleasant-we weren’t on our way to an Irish prison, we were on vacation. We will refrain from booking any wild rover tours in the future.

A Don’t-Miss Tour!
This is a great day! If you want to see sights outside of Dublin, this is the tour for you. The Cliffs of Moher are literally awesome. Lunch at Knox’s in Ennis provided delicious fish and chips and a lovely stroll through the quaint downtown. In Limerick, we toured King John’s castle which was rich with history. And our tour guide, Darren, was terrific, giving us added info, delightful asides, and a fun and lively musical soundtrack.

A Painful Beauty
This is an incredible history lesson combined with exquisite beauty of the countryside. Our guide Una was marvelous!

Our tour guide was Rory and our driver Michael. Rory provided us with lots of background information and interesting facts. Michael is a very nice and polite person. The Titanic Museum was really worth visiting, but we didn't know exactly how much time we had on every level and in the end we realized that we could have taken a little more time for each level. Dunluce Castle Was great for a photo session and at the Giant's Causeway we had enough time to take photos and walk up to the view point. We skipped lunch as we had some snacks with us. We definitely enjoyed the whole tour.

Our hosts were Neal and Darren. They were outstanding. We appreciate their hard work and from Neal, all of the amazing content and history he shared. Everything was smooth and on time. Thanks to Neal and Darren for making this day a memorable one.

We had a fantastic tour with Neil and Darren today. We appreciated the well thought out experience which included great story telling of the history of Ireland and some fantastic sight seeing of multiple locations in the one day, that didn’t feel like overkill. Neil is so knowledgeable, funny and personable, taking the time to get to know everyone on the tour and tailoring stories and facts based off our interests. We would recommend this tour with Neil and Darren and would be great to do another tour with Wild Rover tours next time we visit Ireland. Thank you Neil and Darren.

I’ve been on two Wild Rover tours this week and both of them were amazing. The guides, David and Neil, knew the areas very well and their audiences even better. Everyone I’ve met with Wild Rover is very personable and kind. Like I mentioned, I’ve done two tours, but I look forward to more excursions with Wild Rover!

My husband and I went on Wild Rover's Kilkenny Medieval City, Wicklow Mountains & Glendalough tour, and it was the best tour ever. We've done tours in Montreal, Versailles, and around Iceland - and this was the BEST. We were lucky enough to have Ian as our guide and Stipe as our driver. First off, let's talk about our driver, Stipe. This fellow is a consummate pro. He took sharp turns like a boss. In Dublin, he would get within an inch of another bus and clear it with ease. I'm honestly not sure how he managed some of the tight squeezes he did without hitting anything, but he managed it all with ease. Second, Ian. What an absolutely charming and delightful human! He was so personable and knowledgeable. He shared all sorts of insights and random facts that I wouldn't have even thought to ask or look up online. I learned so much about Ireland, Dublin, and each of our stops. I loved Ian so much that I asked if he would take a photo with me and my husband (which he gladly agreed to). It was obvious to me how much Ian loves Ireland, and it was absolutely infectious. I wish all tour guides had the passion and enthusiasm that Ian had throughout the entire tour. At the end, he went to each group to ask about their experience and offer specific recommendations for restaurants or activities after the tour. Ian also kept it real with the group and told us places to avoid that will prey on tourists to get an extra euro or two from us. Loved that! Both Stipe and Ian get an A++++++ from me! 💚🤍🧡 Third, the stops. Kilkinney was just lovely. It's small, walkable but has something for everyone. A medieval castle (with an adorable cat in the garden), shopping, food, friendly humans, everything! Our drive and brief stop in the Wicklow Mountains was breathtaking. There are no words sufficient to describe Ireland's natural beauty. The monastery in Glendalough was so serene and picturesque. We walked around the lower lake and it was very doable for everyone in our tour guide. There's so much history at that site, and I loved it all. Lastly, the stop at Cullen's Sheep Farm. I am a child trapped in an adult body, so I GEEKED OUT at Cullen's. The sheep dog presentation was so cool. We held baby sheep (one was two days old 🥹) and that was the highlight of my entire vacation (which included two other countries). That was the best way to end the tour. It was a day I will never forget. To say I recommend this tour is an understatement. The price is such a bargain for everything you get on this tour. You'd be crazy not to go on this tour. It's the best money you could spend. Be prepared to have an amazing time and to fall completely in love with Ireland and her people.

Great day - great team ! Even the rain didn’t spoil it!
What a great day with a fantastic guide Kevin, and our driver Darren. Both made us so welcome, and clearly communicated the details of the tour and were both full of helpful tips and knowledge to make the day a great experience. It was a long coach journey and could have been filled with empty silences, but Kevin updated us the so much local Information of all the towns and other places of interest we passed. Both were very helpful and the actual Experiences we had were great but the tips given to us by both made each experience seamless! Great double act! Definitely recommend this tour and if you get these guys consider it a bonus!
