Sarah was a great driver! Joe Murphy is very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Would highly recommend! I like how he gets to know his passengers.

PLEASE read if your are SOLO travelling

A fantastic day out as part of my first solo trip! The tour itself was great, made even better by great locations and weather in February. Driver Stephen and Guide Brendan were great - cracking jokes, providing insightful facts and expert driving down narrow roads and stopping at POI’s so we could get a good view outside the window! Extra time was given at the locations compared to other tour companies, which was a main reason why I picked Wild Rover Tours. It’s just a shame that the day was tainted a little by my seat switch… If you are travelling solo like I did, be prepared to move seats/coaches if there are multiple vehicles allocated to one tour. I had claimed a window seat on my favoured left hand side as many of the amazing views on this tour are on the left hand side of the coach. As there was an odd number of people on our coach and an even number on the other, I was asked to leave my seat and move coaches, where I didn’t get a choice as to where I was sat. I was then given an aisle seat on the right hand side of the coach, the complete opposite to what I initially chose. The person I was sat next to was a smoker too so not a pleasant experience upon the conclusion of the multiple toilet stops we took on the way to and from Dublin. Like I said, all in all it was a really enjoyable day, but it could’ve been even more memorable if I was allowed to stay in my chosen seat.

The Galway portion was far too short and only afforded us the time for lunch and shipping as we were dropped off in that section of town Nothing of the historical and cultural aspects of the city the guide kept mentioning I realize it was a long day - an overnight would have helped so we could explore the next day A waste as it seems we traveled six hours

Easily one of the best tours we’ve been on. Eve and Sarah made the experience all the better. Smooth day, even with lots of planned stops. Eve provided great information, directions, and suggestions. They are a fantastic pair and we would highly suggest everyone take this tour when visiting Ireland!

Fantastic Trip with a Great Guide!

Brendan was a brilliant guide who imparted humor and history throughout the trip. Stephen was an expert driver who safely navigated us through the countryside!

Great trip!!

Would definitely recommend to everyone! Our favorite things were Eve’s knowledgeable history facts on our drive to locations, the bathroom breaks were AMAZING and needed, as well as as just a very informative trip overall with where to eat/ drink in Galway and to avoid the coffee shops that take too long. The only things we didn’t care much for was the amount of time in Galway. We found ourselves walking up and down the street to kill time. We were able to take quick naps on the bus in between which was the best ever! The bus was super clean and comfortable!

Must go!!!

Dáithí was our tour guide and Pete was our driver. We had a great day!! Dáithí was very funny with lots of memorable stories to tell on the long bus ride. Recommend going during puffin season if you like birds. We missed them but had a beautiful day at the cliffs. if you are visiting Ireland, you absolutely must see the cliffs and this is a great way to do it. We went to several of Dáithí’s recommendations and enjoyed them all. Particularly happy with my Thomas & Dillon ring and his rec for live music at the Foggy dew.

A Must Do!!

My parents (mid-70s), daughters (tween/teen) and myself thoroughly enjoyed this tour and experience. The cliffs are gorgeous, Galway has a fun and lively vibe, and the sights along the way were beautiful. It was cold (dress in layers) and it did rain, but it was still a wonderful day. Our driver Michael, was humorous and an excellent driver. Aaron our tour guide- we were so lucky to have him. The history and information he provided was interesting and informative, it was helpful not just for this tour but for our entire trip to Dublin. Of note, my mom had a total knee replacement 2 1/2 months earlier and could navigate the main trail at the Cliffs. However, they do have a service you can book that can provide a lift/ride to those with mobility limitations, something I wish we had known.

Joe Murphy The Guide and Paulo the Driver!

I must recommend this for kids! They’ll love the sheepdog experience! Also, our tour guide, Joe Murphy is amazing! Very attentive to us on board and very funny! Him and our driver Paulo are quite the dynamic duo. Very amusing to hear them tease one another on the ride and Joe Murphy’s enthusiasm to include us and our culture throughout the bus ride is very entertaining. Totally recommend him as a guide!

Exquisite, worth every...

Exquisite, worth every moment in the very long bus ride. Brian is one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever listened to, he should narrate books. Such an intuitive wealth of knowledge. He and Colin made this day feel safe and exciting. Highly recommend!
