Belfast & Giant Causeway

Great way to spend a day in Northern Ireland. Full day, lots to see and explore. Dave was a great guide very knowledgeable of Irish History. And our driver Krishna was excellent maneuvering the crazy Irish Roads. The star of the bus was Dolly the Mascot she kept the group, Dave & Krishna in line.

So much to see and do

Great day in spite of a few showers. Tour guide very knowledgeable about locations, restaurants and history. Questions were welcome. We'll be using Wild Rover again.

Memorable first trip to Northern Ireland

Our tour guide, Daibhéid was a wonderful storyteller that made the experience much more personal--he didn't just quote facts, rather he shared stories of growing up Catholic with real fear of leaving Dublin based on dynamics of Ireland at the time. We also had a very safe driver, Billy, who drove a well-maintained bus. 1st stop was Belfast where you could choose to do the Black Cab tour or the Titanic museum. We went on a black cab tour where you are able to break off into small groups and get led around by someone who experienced The Troubles 1st hand. Each guide does things differently, but we went to several political murals, the Eileen Hickey museum (former women's prison) and drove along the wall that still stands between the Catholic and Protestant parts of town. It was really eye-opening and went by quickly. Our guide (I believe his name is Ciarán) was an absolute character. We then boarded the bus and went to Dunluce castle--it was pouring rain and there's no roof on the castle so it was a fast & furious stop--and then we headed to The Giant's Causeway. It was also POURING when we got there so one thing I wish that I'd done is either wear quick dry pants vs jeans or bring an extra pair to change into for the ride back. Either way, it was worth it because the rock formations are incredible. We also had a lovely, civilized lunch at the hotel with the best tartar sauce I've ever had. The drive back to Dublin is long, but I found it enjoyable, particularly driving along the coast and gorgeous green fields in countryside. The sun came out so we were able to stop and get pictures with a view of Scotland. This was my first time in Northern Ireland and I really appreciated people with firsthand knowledge of its painful past willing to share their eye-opening stories. It was one of our most memorable days in Ireland.

This tour is one of the best I’ve ever been on

What an amazing experience! I and my 6 family members came for my birthday and the tour was amazing!! My kids (11 and 6) loved cuddling with the lambs. We all enjoyed learning about the sheep dogs. We loved Kilkenny. We only had time to eat and do a short walk so that would be my only suggestion: to make the Kilkenny stop longer. The weather was dreary but we still had a fabulous time. The tour guide and driver were awesome. They kept the mood light and fun. And they were super informative so we learned so much. The bus is comfortable. I only wish there was a bus bathroom but we had several bathroom stops so we were fine (mostly for the kids). The bus was also super clean and roomy with a small space abovehead for small bags. All in all a truly memorable experience.

My tour to the Cliffs of...

My tour to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway with Matthew and Billy was smooth and fun! The trip itself was super chill, thanks to Billy’s driving, and Matthew gave us so much interesting information about the places we were visiting and driving through. Additionally, the amount of time we spent at each of our stopping spots was just perfect. Definitely recommend choosing this company for your Ireland tour!

Fantastic Cliffs of Moher Tour!

Matt and Joe were excellent guides. The drive to the cliffs was smooth and we learned some interesting Irish Folklore on the way. The cliffs were beautiful and we had enough time to explore. The highlight of the trip was the drive from the cliffs to Galway, which was beautiful. I’ll likely make this trip again if I return to Dublin in the future

Excellent experience! Highly recommend

Great day trip to see areas around Dublin. The highlight was the farm and learning about raising sheep and getting to hold a lamb. The farmer was knowledgeable and allowed questions. It was a nice mix of scenery through it t and the stops were long enough to enjoy each place and there was food at the longer two stops. You really didn’t need to bring snacks on the bus. The tour guide and driver were attentive and helpful. They made sure the tour ran on time. Overall, it was a great day with many wonderful photos and memories!

David was our tour guide...

David was our tour guide and was wonderful! He gave us lots of great historical information as well as tips and tricks for the places we were visiting. We especially enjoyed Wicklow Mountains National Park and the visit to the sheep farm with Richie!

Not to be missed!!!

Seeing the Cliffs is a must in Ireland. While the day was windy and damp it’s still a beautiful site. The Atlantic Seaway and Galway are worth the experience. Jack our guide and Stephen the driver were pros and made the experience much more enjoyable. You learn about the rich Irish history. Including Irish music that enrich your appreciation. Not to be missed

Outstanding choice

The trip was so much more informative, engaging and enjoyable than I had originally imagined. My wife and I had an incredible time with the company. The coach we took from Dublin was comfortable and smooth even considering the tight and winding roads. We would highly recommend this trip, our guide, driver and tour company.
