Incantevole
Esperienza emozionante.

(Translated by Google) Excellent tour, a bit tiring as it's a long drive from Dublin, but very beautiful and worth it. On the way to the cliffs, they stop at a service station for a bathroom break and to buy something to eat. The guide, John, shares very interesting historical facts. Paolo, the driver, drove superbly. The views on the way from the cliffs to Galway are beautiful. Highly recommended!

To the charming John and the Handsome Italian Paolo, we have one thing to say: Thank you! It was a trip that started early in the morning but we were fast losing all the sleepiness we had. John is incredibly knowledgeable about Ireland and has definitely got a tick for comedy. Paolo had great great driving, passing swiftly on a famous “coach pain point” while evwrybosy applauded. We came from the north of Portugal and are tempted on coming back, specially to this duo. Can’t recommend the experience enough, a great compliment to the main objective that was the cliffs of Mouher

John and Maurice are super nice and they have the best stories. They made our trip quite enjoyable. We loved taking both tours although we didn't quite enjoy the Irish driving style.

We flew in to Dublin for the week as a last minute anniversary trip (our second time to Ireland) and decided to book a Wild Rover tour to Kilkenny, Glendalough, and the Wicklow Mountains National Park in order to see some sights outside of the city. We are SO GLAD we did, and we are most grateful to have landed John as our driver and guide! What a wealth of knowledge he has! Don’t worry—he doesn’t talk the entire time—he gives you time to soak up the scenery, as well. The tour was recommended in Rick Steve’s Dublin Guidebook, and we would like to add our thumbs up, as well! We spent about 2 1/2 hours touring the Medieval Mile in Kilkenny, including a castle and a cathedral, with time to grab a bite to eat. You can stick with the guide for the first 20 minutes or so and then go off on your own or just go on your own. We enjoyed the stories John had to share about local lore! Outside of Kilkenny, we did a photo op stop at a scenic location in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains and then stopped at the nearby ancient ruins of Glendalough Monastery for a two hour hike through the ruins, where there are also trails should you want to do some hiking in the national park. It is easy to see why this sacred place is an important pilgrimage site. Again, stick with your guide for the first few minutes to get some background history in order to appreciate all the history that occurred here in centuries past. Finally, we stopped just a bit further down the road to visit Cullen’s Sheep Farm, a four generation working sheep farm where we got to watch live sheep dog demonstrations and even hold a baby lamb! Don’t miss this very reasonable one day trip!
