Lots of talking about the politics of Ireland - nice for 15 -30 minutes but it went on most of the tour. Hard to explain the tone of the talks but people were getting tired. The website posted that Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge was closed but it was open, and our bus went right past it. Titanic Museum or Black Cab Tour were the Belfast options. I can't say which was better - both commented on as just ok. Dunluce Castle was put in place of the rope bridge, and it was very good, but the tour could include the castle and the rope bridge. Belfast didn't need that much time. The Internet was ok in Dublin but nonexistent elsewhere. Good guide and driver.

Couldn’t have asked for a better tour! We had Richard as our host and Owen as our driver. Consummate professionals. Highly knowledgeable, entertaining, passionate, organized, punctual, friendly. And the driving! You’ll be amazed at Owen’s ability to pilot that bus through historic villages and along gorgeous costal roads. Wish we had a bit more time at the cliffs, but the coastal drive and time in Galway made it worth it. Would highly recommend this trip if you’re looking for an experience you’ll never forget.

Good value and lots of fun. The bus was comfortable, although was a bit surprised no on-board toilet. (That issue was covered immediately so everyone knew just when there would be a toilet break.) The historical and local informtion provided by Melissa was offered in a humane and factual way, not just someone reading a few paragraphs from notes. Jerry did a fantastic job driving down some very narrow roads and took it all in his stride. The best part was the walk through the forest, so calming, and the video on the way back, which layered politics, culture and events with the general zeitgeist at the time through recent Irish history. Thank you - a well spent day in our opinion.

This was my second trip with Wild Rovers in 3 years and this was a more enriching experience compared to the last time. Tour guide Rorie and the driver Peter were like companions and totally kept us engaged/informed about what to expect in our upcoming stops. Would definitely recommend Wild Rovers for future trips.

We did two tours with Wild Rover on our recent Ireland vacation: the Cliffs of Moher and Giants Causeway. Expert drivers and tour guides on both (Anthony and David on the first, Rory and Jerry on the second), great weather and absolutely great value. Highly recommended.

The driver and host were both very funny and interesting to listen to. Definitely not their fault that we couldn’t see the Cliffs of Mohr because of fog and Galway was a bit of a bust because it was pouring rain and packed because of an arts festival.

Our guide, Ian was a hilarious yet tremendously professional tour guide. Our driver Sarah was incredibly skilled and kind to her passengers. We were lucky to have gotten this crew. A great experience.

A very nice tour with a good guide and a good driver! I especially enjoyed the song by the guide! Dunluce castle and Giants Causeway were marvellous, and the taxi tour in Belfast was also very informative, even if I had some problems in understanding the local taxi driver/ guide!

Just finished a tour to the Cliffs of Mother with Sean and Gerry! Amazing experience! Gerry drove safe and on schedule! Sean well, Sean was off the charts! I personally love to learn stuff about the culture of the countries I visit. He shared the entire Ireland's history, by chapters!! In between, he kept giving all these great recomendations, about everything! He ran a playlist of all type of Irish artists, and one time, he even sang for us! Congratulations for this amazing team!

Booked two tours while visiting and wish I had known sooner how great they would be as I would have booked a few more! Antonio kept things funny and engaging on our Glendalough tour and getting to see Richie working with his sheep and Border Collies was a highlight of our week. Antonio’s “secret” guide book was also a wonderful tool when we returned to Dublin! On our Cliffs of Moher tour, Sean provided thorough historical information throughout the day matching the music playing on the bus to our surroundings and the information he was providing. His website made a great addition to Antontio’s guide that we got earlier in the week. Jerry, our driver on the Cliffs of Moher tour, deserves an honorable mention as well for his tactful navigation of narrow roads and turns and knowing when a scenic short cut is worth taking. Wild Rover will be an essential aspect of any of our future visits to Ireland!
