A great simple way of seeing Venice’s top sites
Our guide (the lady in a furry pink coat and cute matching hat, I didn’t catch her name sorry) was clear, knowledgeable and friendly to the group. Personally I think having a guide was better, as I imagine going in by yourself will be not as fruitful in the learning. There’s not much signs and infographics to read. It was really packed and this is considered off season, so better to go with a tour to skip the lines. The various QR codes printed on A4 paper double sided was confusing, especially because we were in a group of five. It would be more helpful to print an individual’s ticket on one A4 paper, or at least make it clearer what ticket was for what. The accompanying Museo Correr ticket includes the library, archaeological museum and Marciana library all in the same entrance and tour, so don’t be confused thinking they’re different places and entrances. This ticket also lasts one more day so there’s a bit of flexibility there. These places can take up a bit of time as it’s quite lengthy. But definitely worth going. All in all I think it was a good option to go, as the backup plan of renting audio guides was moot as they were fully snapped up already. So take this tour to avoid hassle and disappointment.

J’ignore totalement avec quelle compagnie de gondoliers je suis parti mais l’homme était cultivé et agréable, c’est déjà ça Les tarifs sont euh pour le moins désarçonnants🧐 Bref après s’être mis d’accord sur un circuit, nous voilà partis et bien j’ai adoré ce moment, c’était particulièrement intéressant Un point de vue sur Venise différent Cela restera un très bon souvenir grâce à ce gondolier si sympathique

Hermosa
Viajamos desde Milan en tren hasta Venezia, lo cual recomiendo mucho es una experiencia muy padre. Al llegar lo primero que me encanto fue la vista y el olor a mar, nada de esas historias de que huele horrible, cero, es muy bonito, las calles pequeñas y llenas de historia, la comida buena. Muy recomendable. Solo estuvimos un día.

La guide très bien. Le tour en gondole par contre à fuir vs le prix 30 min avec 15 min de bouchon….et oui comme sur le périphérique.

An introduction only
Good though not outstanding. Do the tour to ‘skip the line’, see & learn the basics with the guide for the hour, then stay inside and go round again on your own at leisure. The tour involves 30 minutes of waiting at the meeting point to be escorted to a second meeting point, to wait for more customers, and then cross the Square to stand in line at the skip the line entry point. Then it begins. Our guide was informative though delivery was fast, flat & hard to follow, so lost a lot. Going back later to read the info boards in each room filled my gaps in hearing. Our tour was midday & the palace was crowded with tour groups & individuals. It was hard to stay up with the guide. Afterwards the whole place was much quieter & we enjoyed space & time, finally leaving at 3pm.

A definitive Venetian visit experience !
My wife and I took an evening Gondola tour. Our guide was quite well informed and gave us some interesting historical tidbits about gondolas on our walk towards the gondola boarding place. The gondola ride was pretty smooth and romantic as expected. I would recommend this tour as a pretty genuine gondola ride experience in Venice.

Sewage smell
Well, it's a canal, the main traffic artery in Venice. Not my thing, too busy, too dirty, sewage in water and it doesn't smell good. Venice in general is not my thing, too much decay, too many people, just too much of everything. There are other places that suit me much better and are much nicer and more relaxing. But Venice is not one of them. حسنًا، إنها قناة، الشريان الرئيسي لحركة المرور في البندقية. ليست من الأشياء التي أحبها، فهي مزدحمة للغاية وقذرة للغاية مياة مجاري عادمة ولا تفوح منها رائحة طيبة. البندقية بشكل عام ليست من الأشياء التي أحبها، فهي مليئة بالفساد، والكثير من الناس، والكثير من كل شيء. هناك أماكن أخرى تناسبني بشكل أفضل وهي أجمل وأكثر استرخاءً. لكن البندقية ليست واحدة منها.

Frustrante
Contratamos o serviço um dia antes por uma empresa de turismo por receio de ficar sem opções na hora. Acabamos pagando mais cara de um tour compartilhado onde correrem embarcar antes de nós e nos sobraram os lugares em banquinhos sem encosto bem desconfortáveis nas laterais das gôndolas. Não conseguimos nem fazer fotos direito com medo de cair. Além disso nas fotos não dava pra ver que a gente estava na gôndola… quando aparecia a gôndola apareciam junto os demais ocupantes desconhecidos: foi horrível. Poderíamos ter facilmente contratado um serviço na hora, por 90 euros que é o valor padrão e termos ido só nós três na gôndola. Não comprem tour compartilhado.

Takes the stress out of transportation. Great tour.
This was a beautiful trip. It is very free to do whatever you want on each island. It was a day well spent without the stress of trying to navigate other ferries. The glass blowing was so cool. It was a very enjoyable time.

Good info, badly organized (better ways to spend a day)
Our guide was knowledgeable and explained the areas we visited in an interesting way. We did get to see a few spots that we would have definitely missed on our own. However the tour group was slightly over crowded for the narrow streets of Venice, so if you were one of the ones in the back the audio guide would lose signal or be patchy. Also the tour was offered in Spanish, unfortunately at the last minute 2 people were added to the group that only understood English, so the tour became a bilingual (we were not informed about this change until the tour began) which made it extremely tedious to have to listen to everything twice. I definitely think there are better ways to spend a day in Venice.

Top- quality guided tour. All tour guides were knowledgeable and professional, and also seemed like very friendly, pleasant human beings in general. I noticed that this firm was running many different tours/combos in different languages. I thought that was brilliant, and i know I am repeating myself here but,- the guides/representatives were extremely nice and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. For your reference, we booked St.Mark's Basilica+Doge's Palace with gondola ride at the end. I felt that the gondola ride was long enough( just right length/duration). I wouldn't want it to be longer, I had the chance to enjoy the best views and take great photos. I also learned a lot of surprising and interesting facts from our tour guides so, overall I am very happy with the experience! Thank you!
