Mask painting
We worked in a tiny shop with Nicolo. There were a variety of mask shapes from which to choose then we chose which colors we wanted to use. Nicolo gave instructions along the way. As we were working, he talked a bit about the significance of masks in Venice. Once the background was painted by us, Nicolo added the artistic finishing touches.

Highlights of Venice
This was a great way to experience a number of key Venice attractions in an efficient manner. We were able to visit the Basilica and Palace with minimal fuss as our guide took us straight in, and then provided a lot of information about the history. The gondola ride was a fun experience for the kids and we enjoyed the gondoliers singing to each other. At the end we were able to use a VR headset which showed Venice throughout history which was surprisingly interesting.

Just the highlights, perfect for a short trip
The tour was a couple of hours, which was about right. The tour office is easy to find. It's very close to St. Mark's square. Our tour guide, Francesco, was good. The gondola ride was great! Just a few people per boat. You get another short tour before that ride. You are able to use the museum pass to Museo Correr the following day if needed. This was helpful for us because we finished our gondola ride mid-afternoon and wanted to grab a late lunch. The description lists the archeological museum as separate, but it's actually within the Museo Correr, so you don't get a separate ticket for that.

This was a good experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and we were organised well into groups. The only downside I thought was the commentary could’ve continued throughout the Canal cruise.

Fantastic day
What an excellent tour. Our guide Claudia was fantastic- very friendly and helpful, her English was superb. Our boat driver was also very polite and friendly - I think he was also called Claudia. Murano is so beautiful with plenty of time to explore each island. I would definitely 100% recommend this trip with this tour guide .

Nous n’avons fait que barbouiller la surface du masque, c’est l’artisan qui a fait les finitions certes qui changent tout. Mais ce prix pour ce qu’on a fait est vraiment limite. L’artisan sortait boire en face pendant qu’on peignait
