J’attendais une présentation du palais des doges, leur rôle ce qu’ils ont fait pour leur cité. Aucune information sur la construction du palais… beaucoup de redites et d’informations superficielles qu’on trouve dans les guides. Je suis déçue surtout compte tenu du montant de l’activité. Et puis notre guide nous a quitté ds la grande salle du conseil , pas d’accompagnement sur le pont des soupirs ni dans la prison. Bref … bref …

The walking tour was fantastic , and the tour guide Isabella was very knowledgeable about the city . The gondola ride was short and sweet but a good experience nonetheless.

era prevista guida in italiano invece il gruppo era misto quindi la guida(Elena,bravissima , simpaticissima ed empatica)ha dovuto dedicare l stesso tempo a spiegare le cose in entrambe le lingue...e quindi il tempo a disposizione ovviamente era ridotto...infatti nonostante abbia raccontato cose interessantissime, non ci sono state informazioni su monumenti importanti ponte dei sospiri la fenice e palazzo ducale....insomma, tempo a disposizione dimezzato.

This was a great way to see the Doge’s Palace. We went with our two boys (10 and 12) and our guide went out of her way to make it interesting for them. We definitely learned and notice things we wouldn’t have with a self-tour. It was very interesting to be inside the Bridge of Sighs too!
