Our tour was brilliant. The guide was interesting, emotive and funny with personal anecdotes of growing up in Venice which made it feel that much more personal. She got us to St Marks Square early and the quick passes worked a dream. It was so lovely to be able to enter the Basilica before the noise descended. Wonderful tour, so many tips and explanations to maximise our further exploration of Venice. She had to be one of the best Tour Guides we've ever had. Brilliant experience.

Promised a 30 minute gondola with a serenade. Ride was 21 minutes long. The gondolier was on his cell phone the entire time and was perturbed when we asked questions. We were supposed to receive a romantic serenade on our ride. But the accordionist/singer was on another boat. And we were told last minute that the boats would be side by side, so that we could enjoy the music. Most of the time the boat with the music trailed well behind, often by 20 or 30 yards. We couldn’t hear the music and the experience was definitely now romantic. Very disappointing.

Overall a good tour
For us, the gondola ride was the highlight. We also enjoyed the Basilica tour but found the Doge's Palace section rather too long and repetitive. We would have preferred longer in the Basilica, maybe with access to the upper terrace area. Having Skip the Line access to the venues was essential. A couple of negatives, the earpieces issued to hear the guide's commentary, were very difficult to position on your ear. Providing your own may help. In addition, we felt that the guide was somewhat rude to other visitors, commenting negatively on families getting in her way! They are also paying visitors. Some of the paperwork provided in advance of the tour was confusing and gave conflicting information about the meeting point. Others have commented on this, and it needs sorting out.

Rude Staff
My mom and I were supposed to go on this, but we first got the wrong location and tried to contact the instructor. When we finally got the correct location to meet up with the group, the staff was extremely rude to us when we were just trying to explain what happened and why we were late. We were able to go on the gondolas under a different company, but the experience with this company was horrible.

Fun excursion
Fun excursion in Venice! We walked through the town a little to learn about the history of gondola, then went on a ride for ~30 minutes through the canals. It was a lot of fun!

Silent Ride
The commentary was not live! They gave us an app to download, and it did not work! Floated along in silence! I would not recommend.

Good guide and gondola tour
Had Elise as our walking guide. She was very informative, knowledgeable and fun. Seeing Venice’s from the gondola was very cool.

Worth the trip
Well organised tour, good explanations of our guide Claudia about many aspects of Venice historical background. The weather also played it's part by not sending the announced storm. It was worth the price

Good!
Simple but enjoyable, all points expected covered. Walking for 10 minutes, gondola ride for 20 minutes, virtual reality experience for 10 minutes on the history of Venice, different way to get to know Venice. Little interaction from guide. Gondola ride was very quiet, no tour during this part.

Not The Experienced I Had Hoped For
There's a lot of waiting around and you share the gondola with others. I thought we would have the traditional experience, but we were in a gondola with a family with an unhappy small child and we ended up sitting apart on the side chairs. Sadly, not what I imagined!

Great tour and great tour guide!
Claudia was our guide. We loved our tour, she made it very educational, interesting and fun. She directed us with clear experience to what we enjoyed, and we definitely had a great time! Highly recommend.
