The gondola ride was a beautiful experience overall, but the name “Grand Canal” can be a bit misleading. You only spend about 5 minutes on the actual Grand Canal—most of the ride is through the smaller canals, which are actually really lovely and peaceful. It’s a quiet, charming way to see Venice, and honestly, the smaller canals give you a more intimate look at the city. That said, if you’re expecting a full ride down the Grand Canal, you might want to consider a different booking or even a water taxi. Also, keep in mind that while the ride itself is about 30 minutes, the whole experience took closer to 1.5 hours with waiting, getting organized, and the tour lead-in—so plan for more time than advertised. Still a unique and worthwhile experience, just good to go in with the right expectations!

Es ist schon alleine deshalb super, weil man die Warteschlange vor der Basilika überspringt. Eine Führung ohne Guide wäre ausserdem sicherlich sehr schwierig, weil man sich im Inneren bei den vielen Besuchern nur schwer zurecht findet. Wir haben viel Neues gehört. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist auch toll. Gehört unbedingt zu Venedig dazu.

The trip is excellent and the tour guide is very professional. Not only does she explained to us the specific characteristics of Venice, the process is very smooth and we had a wonderful time.

Best way to see Venice's highlights in 1 day!
This tour is an amazing and worthwhile way to see three of the main attractions in Venice. Atena made sure we got organized and grouped for our gondola ride. Even though the weather called for rain we ended up with a beautiful day and rode through some of the smaller canals before ending up in the Grand Canal to finish the ride. Then the second part, which included San Marco Basilica and the Doge Palace, was expertly lead by Marco who shared a wealth of knowledge and history about these iconic Venetian buildings. He also had a great sense of humor that was sprinkled into much of the presentation. The tours were all "skip the line" and considering the lines were a block long, that was a huge timesaver.

Unforgettable Venice Carnival Mask-Making Class!
We had an absolute blast at the Venice Carnival mask-making class in a charming studio! The intimate setting made the experience so special, and the instructor was phenomenal—patient, enthusiastic, and incredibly skilled at guiding us through the process. My kids were so excited, diving into the creative painting, design, and decorating of their masks, and they haven’t stopped talking about it since! The hands-on activity was perfect for all ages, blending history, art, and pure enjoyment. We left with beautiful, unique masks and memories to treasure. Highly recommend this class for a fun, family-friendly Venetian adventure!

A must do in Venice, we loved it!
Our tour guide Emma was outstanding! So informative & interesting, even our 12yr old son enjoyed it telling Emma that she would make a fabulous Narrater. Such good value for money with the walking tour too. Nicola our Gondolier was wonderful too, he commentated & sang to us through the canals. Our family cannot recommend this Gondola company highly enough. Grazie Emma & Nicola! Bravo!

Best hotel in Venice!
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and the staff is so accommodating and friendly! We arrived early in the morning, a bit travel weary and jetlagged, but wanted to make the most of our time there. Our rooms weren't ready yet because it was so early but they took good care of us, giving us places to change and store our luggage. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful boat ride and cultural tour
We had a great time and learned so much! It was a chilly, rainy day, but all the interesting sites were inside or under cover - and the boat was warm and dry. The headsets were perfect for hearing the facts and stories from Atena ,and the boat size was excellent for our group size. The timing was good in each spot as were the visits to see glass-blowing and lace making. I thought it was a 3-4-hour cruise and it was more like 5 but we all enjoyed it. I highly recommend!

It was a great tour and highly recommended. Our guide was adorable❤️ The glass blowing is amazing to watch and the lace demonstration gives you a new appreciation for all the work that goes into it.
