Great way to see the canals.
This is a great way to experience the gondolas and see not only the grand canal but some of the smaller canals in Venice. I highly recommend this tour.

The ride was amazing but...
The ride was amazing but there was no commentary. Our guy was on his cell phone watching reels loud enough so we could hear them.

Huge Disappointment
The 3 hour tour, 2:00-5:00 pm, went 45 minutes longer. That’s 3 hours and 45 minutes of walking, including 7 plus flights of stairs. It was unnecessary to be climbing all those stairs to see every single prison cell; not doing so would have shortened the tour in a good way. Several of the elderly had to stop and rest. Definitely NOT suitable for a 99 year old, as advertised. We had paid for the premium tour with gondola ride but were told at 4:45 pm by a child employee it was going to be an additional 10 to 20 minute walk with several stops, and then a 25 minute gondola ride, putting us at over four hours, and she assured us we would definitely be missing our 6:00 pm dinner reservations. It was too late to cancel our dinner reservations without paying a penalty fee, so we had to skip the gondola ride, and frankly, we just couldn’t walk anymore. Very disappointed.

One of the best tours we have had with viator
To observe the glass makers is truly remarkable! Such an art ! Our tour guide , Julia , enhanced the experience with her knowledge of the area. Recommend requesting a private tour with her. FYI, her English is perfect !

Venice Gondola Tour - Couldn’t recommend any higher
The value you get for this tour is amazing, considering the flat rates of Venice you’re paying a similiar price but getting a much better and more ‘homey’ experience. Good tour, lots of information
It was easy to find check in point based on instructions. But odd how we all had to stand in line to check in and then be ushered to back room and wait while some people did a VR headset experience. I didn’t see any disinfectant being used between users- so I passed. It’s a long tour so buckle up. Guide is informative and nice. The gondola ride was a bit of a wait in line and they put four people in one boat, but it was a nice ride, mostly shaded.

We enjoyed seeing the lace sewing and the master glass maker. Most importantly we had free time to walk around shop and eat

Short and sweet
Nice short gondola ride. Fit our family of five. Peaceful. Saw the building on the smaller canals. Teens appreciated shorter time on tour. VR thing at the end was cool.
