Wrong meeting place

We were given the wrong meeting place. When we arrived we were told we weren’t on the list and to walk to the next gondola area which was a five minute walk, just to be told that was not it and that we were previously in the correct area. We tried the customer service number, they hung up before answering several times. Finally a lady from another group let us join her group. Thankfully because of her we were able to enjoy a gondola ride, unfortunately we missed the rest. Book through Expedia you’ll have better luck.

Amazing Tour

Valentina was amazing! She had a lot of knowledge about Doge’s Palace and the history of Venice. We could not have asked for a better tour guide.

Worth every penny!. Go early! Hope for a guide like SARA!

This tour is worth every penny. Very well organized and when they say, “skip the line”, they mean it! I felt sorry for the hundreds of people standing in line as we waltzed right into the Doge’s Palace and Basilica. SARA, our tour guide, was outstanding! She was knowledgeable about Venice’s history, art, architecture and culture. Her commentary was essential to fully enjoy the experience. The gondola ride was fun. SCHEDULE THE EARLIEST TOUR. Dress modestly for entrance to the Church. Thank you, SARA and Venice Tours.

Rude not helpful total disappointment

Dont use it. It is a scam. No one helps you if you call or chat and then if you are 5 minutes late they are rude and still offer no assistance what so ever. Total dissappointment!

Okay

The actual tour itself was fantastic - our tour leader Anna (hopefully that’s correct) was extremely knowledgeable and easy to understand. She allowed the group to have breaks so that we could get water or loo breaks. Onto the not so great things - getting the tickets redeemed was not clear cut. We were walking backwards and forwards from their two offices (that only open at 9am, so be mindful to possibly do this the day before) to get our tickets and then also to find the meeting point. Our tour was at 9am, started at 930 post VR session and finished at 12pm. However it should have finished at 1140 so that we could go to our gondola ride. When we did finish our tour we said to Anna - what time is our gondola ride? And she didn’t know anything about this. She directed us back to the office who then said there was a mix up and the next tour we can get you on is at 3pm. This was just thoroughly annoying and then to have the staff not very apologetic was disappointing. We ended up getting onto another walking tour which was for about 10mins but some of the information was the same. Thank you for the tour, but the gondola & ticket redemption part was poor and thoroughly disappointing.

Todo ha estado muy bonito, la atención y guía muy bien. Se inicia con un paseo a pie muy informativo y después pasamos al paseo en góndola qué fue increíble 🤩

Gondola ride

We took the gondola ride and it was amazing! Our guide gave us little tour with the history of the city. This ride is a must to do when in Venice!

Don't do it...

Not my favorite. Seeing the canals was nice. Very touristy. Felt like a cattle call. The gondolas were so packed in they were banging in to each other. The narrative from the shore based guide was not particularly informative. Gondalier said nothing and answered no questions. Spend the money and buy a private custom tour.

The experience is not what we expected , overrated and was not worth the money and time. Did not like it and would not recommend

Nothing wrong with it. Reasonable.

Guide had very soft voice. And spoke with minimal expression. No interaction with the group. This is a very basic tour and it allows you to see some key points in a very crowded city.

Misleading! Another walking tour.

All I wanted was a gondola ride! I did not want a walking tour with all the before and after stuff. Misleading! I do not recommend!
