Spectacular!
Incredible! We were in awe of the cathedral. Our guide was magnificent! So much information! She even took photos for us. Definitely recommend.

The tour was good. The headset they provide you is used/ not disposable. Additionally It’s huge, only 1 ear and was uncomfortable.

Good tour, needed to prepare us for strict guidelines at the church
There was an unexpected virtual reality thing added to the beginning which was actually amazing, but ultimately was covering up that they didn't have a tour guide. They quickly had the guide replaced and we only left about 30 minutes later than intended which was great. It was unfortunate however that there was no warning that we needed shoulder/knees covered to go into the church and even with waiting for 30 minutes no one gave any warning of this to prepare to go into the church. I did have something for the shoulders, but in other churches the knee coverage was not an issue, when we approached the church the tour guide went in and didn't even realize that I got stopped or wasn't able to enter. Luckily, we were staying 5 minutes away from the basilica and was able to run back but I ended up missing about 10-15 min of the 45 minute tour because there was no advanced warning of this.

Definitely worth doing - excellent tour
As a couple who tend to do our own thing rather than join a tour I was reluctant to book something like this but a friend recommended a tour of St Mark's Basilica so we booked with Venice City Tours for the Basilica Tour with the terrace. I have to admit it was a wonderful tour and Eleanor, our guide was excellent and extremely knowledgable. The virtual reality was a really nice start to the tour and you do literally get to walk straight into the basilica without queuing at all. I would highly recommend doing this. Well worth the money.

Convenient tour
You’re mostly paying for transportation/not having to navigate the Vaporetto, plus 2 very brief experiences (lace demonstration in Burano and glass blowing in Murano). Otherwise they give you free time to roam the whole time, which we enjoyed. Very kind staff and organized operation. Camilla was a great guide!

Beautiful. Loved Burano more than I expected. Murano was great but not as beautiful. The heat was intense and that made it hard to watch glass blowing.

Walking tour of Venice
Great walking tour. Valentina was very knowledgeable about Venice. We saw hidden gems that we would never have seen had we gone alone. We walked at a steady pace and found it all very enjoyable. I recommend that while in Venice you take this trip.

Gondola ride was fine. The only commentary going on was between and among the gondola drivers and in Italian. The title of this tour is misleading.

Great tour and guide, perfect amount of time
Our guide, Sara (?) was excellent! She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Venice, and spoke excellent English. The information for both the St Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace was helpful but not overwhelming, and the time spent at each location seemed perfect - not too long, but it didn't feel rushed. Both were beautiful and we all enjoyed the tour. One note: we didn't realize in advance that the women in the group would need to have knees and shoulders covered for the Basilica, as we must have missed that detail in the booking info. We also chose the bell tower option, and were glad we did. The views were excellent, and my wife who is scared of heights went up and had no issues admiring the views.

Fascinating and unforgettable gondola ride
The tour started with a short walk following an English guide around a couple blocks of historical buildings. The English guide was okay as her English mixed in Italian was hard to understand but it was fine as I did my research beforehand. The gondola ride was fascinating as we sailed through the waterway of traditional Venetian houses and bridges. Another boat's sailor sang soprano like a pro. The iconic part was going on the Grand Canal with Santa Maria della Salute (know the Mission Impossible 7 movie where Isla told Ethan "this is my first time in Venice" and Ethan replied "so is mine"?) on the right and Doge Palace & St Mark's Square in the far end. That is the climax of the tour!

It was a very good and informative tour. Luccia our guide was amazing, her understanding of the history and interpretation was both articulate and engaging!
