It started off with a virtual movie which I thought was a great idea. It just gave my family an idea of the history of the tour so they knew what to expect. My husband in particular who’s not really interested in history was impressed. The guide was great!

Forgettable, Uncomfortable Experience

While our tour guide was ok, it would be hard to classify any part of this as a tour. The "your" was a hurried walk from the meeting place to the water, where the guide shared very little, and the microphone did not work well. The gondola had zero commentary, seemed rushed, and was incredibly uncomfortable unless you were the couple that elbowed their way into the only comfortable (main) seats. My wife and I weren't able to sit next to or across from each other. The best part was the five minutes virtual presentation at the end using a VR headset (which doesn't require your time or presence in Venice to enjoy). Totally forgettable experience.

Lagoon tour

The guide David was exceptional and informative throughout the lagoon tour. He made the tour of Murano and Burano for us. Highly recommend

Very happy the tour went ahead despite being the only person. So it seemed like I was on my own personalised tour. The wonderful Valentina introduces you to lots of hidden gems and knows lots of quirky bits of info. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide Marta is so good. I love her interpretation of gondola. The gondolier is very rude….The VR tour is also good. I enjoy the trip anyway

We liked going through the small channels of water. We would have preferred a gondola operator who spoke or interacted with us. He was talking on his phone during the trip. The live commentary was only at the beginning and the end but not during the actual gondola ride.

The guide was knowledgeable. The tour is only guided for the Doge’s palace and the rest is on the customers to explore on their own.

Guide very knowledgable about the history of the gondolas. Ride was fun liked the back canals.
