Our guide, Joya, was excellent. This review has nothing to do with her. The actual activity was incredibly disappointing. We were on time to meet our guide. Upon arrival at the glass factory in Murano, we were put in a large group demonstration that had already started. The demonstration was only 10-minutes (not 30-minutes as suggested by the description). Then we had over 2 hours for a walking tour of the small island. It was very disappointing.

Guide was helpful as we had one person in group with mobility issues, however he was on the phone at the initial trip and we were idle not going anywhere in the gondola for the first 10mins, took us round and parked again when it was still 10mins left on the activity.

Must do experience!
Memorable experience for the two 16 year olds & 10 year old in our group. All 3 girls were very proud of their masks when they were completed. Much better alternative to buying a mask as a souvenir.

Classic Venetian experience to ride the gondolas. The tour starts with a short VR history and has an app to hear your sight seeing landmarks The tour does not begin at the boats. It can be a little tricky finding the office.

In awe of Venice
Wow! What a fabulous tour! Our guide was excellent — knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating stories that brought the history of Venice to life. We really received our money’s worth and so much more. Venice itself was like stepping into another world. Wandering through its winding alleys and crossing countless stone bridges felt like being inside a living painting. The canals, lined with centuries-old palazzos, were breathtaking at every turn. We loved watching the gondolas glide silently through the narrow waterways, and standing in St. Mark’s Square surrounded by incredible architecture was simply unforgettable. One of the highlights was learning about the hidden corners of the city that we would have easily missed on our own — quiet courtyards, tucked-away churches, and local artisan shops that gave us a real taste of authentic Venetian life. This tour truly deepened our appreciation for the art, culture, and resilience of this unique floating city. We left with not only stunning photos but wonderful memories and stories to share for years to come. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Venice — it’s the perfect way to discover the city’s magic beyond the postcard scenes.

Allegra to the rescue!
This was an outstanding tour of Murano island and our guide, Allegra, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the island and the glass making process. Allegra managed to keep the attention of my two teenage boys so that should tell you something. Highly recommend this tour.

Great Tour
The experience was great, the tour lady was nice and attentive when we needed. However, the guy at the information store was not nice at all.
