Il punto di incontro iniziale è presso la sede dell’agenzia, dove abbiamo ritirato il voucher per la visita al Casanova Palace incluso nel biglietto. Da lì ci siamo spostati a un secondo punto d’incontro, a soli due minuti a piedi, dove la guida Beatrice ci ha accolti con grande simpatia e ci ha fatti partire con un gruppo munito di radioline. Durante un piacevole percorso a piedi di circa 5-10 minuti, Beatrice ci ha raccontato alcuni aneddoti interessanti sulla storia di Venezia e ci ha accompagnati fino al punto di imbarco della gondola. Il giro in gondola è stato molto gradevole, passando per molti canali secondari stupendi, oltre ad un breve passaggio nel canal grande. Siamo rientrati nello stesso punto di partenza. Beatrice, sempre sorridente e affabile, ci ha poi guidati per un breve tragitto fino a una piccola esperienza di realtà virtuale vicino a Piazza San Marco: una chicca inaspettata e davvero piacevole. Ci sono però tre aspetti da migliorare. Il primo riguarda la gestione della visita al Casanova Palace: nel processo di acquisto non era chiaro che fosse inclusa, né viene spiegato che la guida non accompagna la visita e che occorre organizzarsi autonomamente. Mancano inoltre indicazioni su distanze e tempi, e questo ci ha costretti a rinunciare alla visita per mancanza di tempo. Il secondo punto riguarda il giro in gondola: sul biglietto è indicato che si passerà sotto il Ponte dei Sospiri, ma in realtà non è stato così. A noi non ha rovinato l’esperienza, ma per altri potrebbe essere una delusione. Infine, i tempi indicati da Tripadvisor non sono precisi: consiglio di considerare almeno venti minuti in più rispetto a quanto riportato, soprattutto se avete una pianificazione serrata. Nel complesso, l’esperienza è stata molto piacevole e il merito va soprattutto a Beatrice, che merita cinque stelle piene per professionalità e simpatia. Tripadvisor, invece, dovrebbe migliorare la chiarezza delle descrizioni per aiutare i clienti a gestire meglio tempi ed aspettative.

Great Tour with a great Local Guide!
This was a very good tour! Our guide had a tremendous understanding of Venetian history, and I cannot imagine doing this tour without having access to that level of knowledge… with some humor added in.

Great experience!! Price is reasonable. You can also learn history through VR. You must do this once you've been to Venice.

Balade en gondole trop géniale ! Visite à pieds guidée aussi ! Terminée avec une immersion virtuelle juste parfaite. Guide gentille et avec beaucoup de connaissances.

Island tours from Venice is nice
Had the island tour and it was great Atena was our tour guide , she is caring and fun Stopped by 2 islands and spent around 2 hrs on both total.

Lovely gondola tour and VR experience
Starts with a short walk through the streets with a guide telling you about the gondolas and the history. Lovely gondola ride through the city (around 30mins) without a guide, then they turn again at the end and we went to a museum which had a really cool VR experience (included in the price). I'm not 100% sure it's not better to just hire a gondola compared to what we pay for this, but there are some added extras.

gondola ride was less than 30 mins no commentary whilst on the ride gondolier spent the whole time shouting at and chatting with other gondoliers huge wait at the beginning whilst we waited for upwards of 30 participants totally not worth it
