The ride on the gondola was nice. There was some construction going on down some of the canals.

Expérience catastrophique: guide en retard de 30 min, ne parlant absolument pas français et audio-guides ne fonctionnant pas donc prestation de 56€ à deux pour une entrée simple sans aucun commentaire. Remboursement demandé, aucun retour!!!

Not enough time in Murano. While knowledgeable, had a difficult time hearing the guide. There was a group of females on the boat from Poland who chose to chat and laugh loudly instead of listening to the guide which also made it difficult for those around them to hear the guide. Time allotment in Burano was fine.

Very misleading title, the ride is not on the Grand Canal, we spent there maybe 2min and moved to the side canals, not very picturesque views to say the least. The ride was also shorter than 30min.

Despite the enthusiasm of the guide, and she has done a good job, the program itself is just a way to rip off the customers. We wasted our time. Finally the gondole driver kept chatting with his fellow driver of another gondole ahead of us, which was very annoying.

Liked most: David our guide was phenomenal. On the trips to and from the island he entertained us with a huge breadth of history (relationships of the land, sea, and humans over a thousand years) that he shared in a captivating style that made it all come alive. The glass blowing demonstration in Murano and the lace making demonstration in Burano were so enlightening, and the towns themselves were picturesque and delightful.
