It was hard to listen to the guide when we were walking. This is the one tour where I wasn’t able to hear and engage with what was being said. However, I decided to enjoy and listen to what I could. I liked the gondola ride because they say the gondola captains fluctuate their price. I did learn a couple new things about Venice.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Nachmittag mit Carlotta. Besonders Burano hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Den Treffpunkt zu finden war, aufgrund der vielen Leute, gar nicht so einfach. Plant lieber etwas mehr Zeit dafür ein.

I would not recommend this tour if you want to have a wholesome tour to the islands. It felt like a waste of precious time I had for my holiday. First, you are embarking a very big ship with two decks, multiple groups stay on it. An Italian guide came first and told people to onboard in Italian. English guide was the last and we had to wait, so we did not get any good places to sit. The earphone that is given is of a bad quality, no one could hear what guide was saying while on the ship. So… basically no excursion 😅 you have only an hour at Murano where they bring you to the glass factory with a very brief showcase of making glass figures. Because group is enormous, again, try to get a spot. On Bursno you are showcased two touristic places to get cookies and to get laced pieces. If you had a third island - good luck. We had only half an hour on it and this is exactly the time to get to church, buy drink OR visit bathroom and to go back to the ship. Absolutely disappointing.

really enjoyed the glass blowing demonstration. enjoyed the day on the water seeing venice and the islands from that perspective.
