The guys at the shop were great. We had a snafu (not the shops fault) before being able to rent bikes and they were helpful and understanding as I worked through it all. We just rented bikes to ride around on our own, but I would definitely go on a tour with them if there is ever a next time in San Diego.

Great ride seeing the biggest sights. It was mostly flat and lite to moderate effort at most. Our tour guide was awesome! However, the guys in the shop getting out bikes were angry, barking orders to customers telling them to get helmets and grab a bike. They didn’t adjust seat posts unless asked. Even then, the guy helping me ignored my small talk like I didn’t exist, fixed my seat aggressively then walked away. Calling them rude would be a compliment. Despite this interaction, we enjoyed the bike ride anyway. If you’re doing a guided tour, I recommend you don’t waste money on insurance since the tour guide watches the bikes when you’re away at the sites. Bring some bug spray if you do the night ride.

Eric was a fantastic guide! We chose a Segway tour of the monuments and were not disappointed, especially considering how much more comfortable we were in the heat compared to the other tourists! This is a great was to see the sights without all the walking, as we traveled nearly six miles in less than two hours. Our guide Eric was incredibly knowledgeable and allowed us ample time to see what we wanted and get pictures!
