This biking tour was absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend doing this tour especially if it is your first time visiting the National Mall in D.C. The tour lasts for about 3 hours and you stop at various monuments and memorials along the way for photos and to explore. Each stop lasts about 10 to 20 minutes and the tour guide gives you info about the stop before giving you time to explore and take pictures. On my tour we stopped at these places on the National Mall: Washington Monument, South Lawn of White House, World War 2 Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, and Jefferson Memorial. My tour guide from Unlimited Biking was Tim. Great tour guide. If you get him, he will give you a great tour. Make sure to leave him a good review. He also accepts tips as well.

Kyle was great! We enjoyed the bike tour. His knowledge and high energy made the trip well worth it. I was nervous riding in the city and he was sure to make sure everyone was safe. We got to see lots of sights in Central Park we missed on our walk through another day during our stay.

We loved our tour with Dave!! He was so friendly and informative and just a lot of fun. We had the best day, and it was one of our favorite things we did on our trip to Paris.The very best part was going around the water through the beautiful, shaded trees and having a picnic.

Tim gave a great tour and despite it being very hot outside it was an extremely efficient way to see a lot of sites up close and personal with the delays of driving. There was water and bathroom locations along the way. Thank you Tim!

Had a day hire for our group of 4 to cycle around the riverside parks of Manhattan (more straightforward along Hudson than East Rivers) and Central Park. Not the most conveniently located for Central Park, but had excellent service from cycle company, good bikes and a timely replacement provided after a puncture on E35th St. Would recommend.

The Booking agent on the phone was awesome. On the day of my ride the guy who set me up with the bike at the Washington DC shop seemed impatient and unconcerned that I had never ridden an e-bike before—just wanted to get me outa there. I told him the bike (frame) feels small. He said, “It fits you.” End of discussion. There were no other customers. He also didn’t tell me the bike electronics time out/off when the bike is parked for a short time and that the power has to be turned back on manually. I was not aware of the power button until I got to the Alexandria store where the gentleman was much more interested my experience and in helping me. Oh, and the steering alignment also became loose. Even though I picked up the bike from the DC store, it was nice I could finish it at the Alexandria store for no additional charge.

We did a tour with Cassandra and it was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and tour was a great way to see a good portion of the city. I highly recommend it! Ryan was with us as well and he was very insightful too.

Paul Kelly was the best, fun, knowledgeable and low key guide I could have asked for. This was my first bike visit to Central Park. What a great experience. Having a guide like Paul gave me a much deeper insight to the history and design of this incredible park.

Best way to tour San Francisco & hiring an electric bike was needed for the hills. The battery died before dropping the bike off and I was about an hours ride from the shop. The gentleman explained when I dropped the bike off (different member of staff when collecting) that they would have come out to issue a new battery. But well worth using if you want to get in as much as you can in the city…. Thank you

My husband and I booked the all-day Versailles bike tour, and it was fantastic! First, I had to upgrade our bikes to e-bikes due to concerns over a recent injury and whether I would be able to ride a bike all day. They were very accommodating and great with communication. The day of the trip, I had been having some pain and spoke with our tour guide, Dave. He reassured me that if I wasn’t able to continue riding, he would take my bike and allow me to leave the tour group. Fortunately, I was able to stay with the group the entire day. Next, our tour guide made our tour one of the highlights of our vacation. He was kind, flexible, informative, funny, and extremely engaging. We really enjoyed learning all about the history of Versailles while riding through the scenic grounds. Dave explained everything in a way that brought the historical facts and people to life. We both agreed that we were so glad we decided to book the all-day tour instead of visiting on our own. We would have missed so much rich history, and it would have just ended up feeling like a trip to a museum. I highly recommend Fat Tire Tours and will be looking forward to other tours with them in the future!

Deceptive. If you tour the Chateau first you’re left with a 30 minute walk back to the other side of the palace to retrieve your bikes. If that’s your business model, you should clearly communicate that on your booking site. Upon calling them on it, they agreed it wasn’t clear yet declined to refund our payment. Disappointing.

We booked a Fat Tire Tour to tour Versailles. The experience was amazing! All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Biking through the Versailles grounds was such a cool and unique experience for us and our kids. Milan, our tour guide, was exceptional- informative, kind to our kids, fun to spend the day with. I can’t say enough great things about the tour. Definitely recommend!!
