Overall, the experience was mostly positive, but unfortunately, it was ruined by the behavior of the staff member outside who handled the bikes. He was extremely rude and unprofessional—mocking my girlfriend when she asked a question about the tandem bikes, even making fun of her smile despite her being friendly. Additionally, the push to sell an insurance policy with limited coverage came across as an attempt to upsell unnecessarily. While the bikes themselves were fine and most of the staff were nice, this interaction and the questionable insurance left a negative impression. Regrettably, I don’t think I’ll be renting bikes from your company again.

Matt was a great guide for the evening tour. I do hope the company does some upgrades on the bike lights to make sure everyone has a working set. There is a bathroom stop about half way through the 3 hour tour but the women’s was out of order so the options were grim.

The golden gate bridge tour was a great tour which allows you to see a lot of the city quickly. The route was busy when I went so if you're not an experienced cyclist (I am not) it can be a little unnerving, but very doable! Ben was a lovely, attentive guide and very knowledgeable about, and extremely fond of the city, sharing his local knowledge and experience with us. Since there were a mix of ebikes and manual bikes in the group, there were times where the guide and ebikers were out of sight, though I didn't feel unsafe as I knew they would wait up. The check in staff were extremely busy - an extra pair of hands at check in would help those amazing guys out as the process was a little confusing. For these reasons I gave 4* - keeping the same bike types in each tour would solve this. Sausalito was a gorgeous place to finish in time for lunch. If you're on the fence about doing this tour - just do it! There are plenty of stops along the way and opportunities to push your bike if needed on the short hills!
