Paul is an excellent tour guide! He brought so much energy and humor to the ride, making it not just informative but fun for everyone. He had the group engaged the entire time. What really stood out was how great he was with the children - patient, encouraging, and made sure they felt included. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. Highly recommend this tour and if you get Paul as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience!

Great place to rent Ebikes, day pass $68, staff is very nice and welcoming. Great idea to visit SF and its steep hills + cross the bridge all the way to Sausalito. Will do again !

We had an awesome experience with Unlimited Biking in Alexandria, VA, doing the Mount Vernon ride! We started at the Alexandria location, and Mr. Butch was fantastic—super friendly, got us set up with bikes and helmets, and gave us a quick and helpful overview of what to expect on the ride. The website does a great job explaining everything—our rental included tickets to the Mount Vernon estate grounds, which made the logistics really smooth. Heads-up: the mansion is currently under repair, so access to the house is limited. But there was still plenty to see and do—the grounds were beautiful, the exhibits were interesting, and it was easy to spend a few hours wandering and soaking it all in. Now let’s talk about the ride itself—it’s not really that flat. At all. In fact, there’s a steady uphill grade for a good chunk of the ride to Mount Vernon that definitely works your legs (and your willpower, especially in July heat). It was hot the day we rode—like 98° and humid—but we took breaks, drank water, and made it. The ride back? Glorious. Much of it felt like a breezy downhill coast, and we were very happy about that. Midway through our day, Mr. Butch texted to check in and make sure we were doing okay. That thoughtful little touch meant a lot—it’s not every day a rental shop follows up like that. All in all, this was a great experience. Great service, beautiful trail, a good physical challenge on the way out, and a fun reward on the way back. Highly recommend it if you’re up for a scenic, sweaty, satisfying adventure!
