Wednesday August 6th we had a bike tour through Central Park New York city with our Dutch guide Rob. The tour was fun, interesting and enjoyable. We saw a great deal of the park, up-hill, down-hill, left and rigth within a timeframe of 2 hours. Sufficient stops for explanation, making pictures and resting after some up hill cycling. Fate attenzione a controllare la bicicletta perché la mia non frenava affatto con il freno destro... quello di sinistra funzionava ma dovevi premerlo a step e non tutto insieme. Tutto sommato le bici sono comode perché puoi metterci l'acqua ed hanno anche un borsello avanti. Consigliato.

We loved renting the bikes to go to Versailles. They opened right at 9am, had the bikes ready for us, provided us with locks and some helpful directions and tid bits for our day. I would 100% use them again. It was a great experience and our kids said their favorite thing was biking all day. Very enjoyable. (Bonus - it is near a bus stop that will take you back to the train station)

This was the best way to visit Versailles! Erik was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the park. All of the stops were well thought out with interesting information about the creation of the park. Erik was able to answer all the questions that folks asked—clearly evident that he enjoys French history. What a lovely idea to stop at a market to get provisions for lunch. The Tour around the gardens of the Petit Trianon was especially enlightening. (For the main chateau—recommend starting with Building B or you might get shuttled out to the garden before you have seen everything (including the hall of mirrors). Overall a fantastic day out!
