I found these guys after doing a guided bike tour which the bikes were supplied from this store. I then went back 2 consecutive days after the tour because I found the bike to be the perfect way to see the city. The staff were really easy to deal with and bikes ran smooth… Also their pricing is cheap with no hidden costs. What you see is what you get and that works perfectly fine by me! 5 stars.

In fact, renting bikes at UB was an obvious choice from the very beginning. I made a reservation, paid, and waited until my visit to Washington. The temporary location is right next to the one that is currently under renovation. A nice man from the staff clearly explained everything I needed to know. The bikes were used but didn't cause any problems. We got helmets, bike locks, and a map. Afterwards, we efficiently returned the bikes and moved on. I highly recommend it!

So glad this company exists. They were one of the best (possibly the actual best) part of my Summer Streets NYC experience. Booking a bike was easy - the Unlimited Biking booth was manned by two awesome dudes who facilitated me getting a bike with charm and efficiency. First, I signed a waiver that advised me to wear a helmet and quickly learned the rules - the bike would be free for the first hour (they kindly offered a grace period of about 15 mins) and just under $13 an hour after that. Second, I scanned a QR code and followed a link to register for the bike with my name, address, and a credit card. They put a $1 hold on my card and assured me I would not be charged if I brought the bike back within the grace period. They also said I’d get my dollar back when they got the bike back. Third, they helped me choose a bike I’d be comfortable on (I’m a shorty so I went with the small 💛). Lastly, one of the two awesome dudes showed me how to adjust the seat so I could ride off comfortably, like a boss. I had come with my own helmet which was great because Unlimited Biking did not provide them. Don’t know if this was planned but their tent was set up right across from the DOT tent where they were giving away helmets 💚 so I would've been able to grab one if I’d left mine at home. The bike rode smoothly, was manageably light, and had a handy pouch on the handlebars which empowered me to ride with my bottle of water. Only suggestions would be softer seat cushions 😅 and to make sure riders know how to adjust their bikes (seat height, gear changes for hills, and brakes). I’d forgotten how to adjust the gears and didnt think to ask while I was getting set up with the bike so if Unlimited Biking makes reviewing seat adjustments, how the brakes work, and how to change gears with each rider part of every registration, there’s nothin left to do but have an amazing time. 10/10, thanks y’all!
