After visiting the shop yesterday and again today, the Unlimited Biking employees insisted that we first make our reservation online before even considering anything else. Once the reservation was made, the person there today told us that to pick up the bikes, we had to leave our original ID, which he would keep for the duration of the reservation. Like any good tourist, we don't carry our original ID around for fear of losing it… He then asked us to give him our credit card… what a strange request! And the PIN too?!?! After he refused to provide copies of our documents and our hotel pass, and with no solution being found, we requested a refund. This gentleman agreed… and refunded us only the dollar we paid as an additional fee. He then deducted one activity from our Explorer Pass (x3), which we lost. It's robbery! Unlimited Biking charged us, and we didn't even get to use the bikes! I wondered why they were so insistent on booking before explaining anything; now I know! Une fois la réservation faite, la personne présente ce jour nous a indiqué que pour pouvoir récupérer les vélos il fallait laisser notre pièce d’identité originale qu’il allait conserver le temps de la réservation. Comme tout bon touriste nous ne nous baladons pas avec nos papiers d’identité originaux pas peur de les perdre… Il nous a alors demandé de lui laisser notre carte bancaire… quelle drôle de demande!! Et le code aussi ?!?! Après qu’il ait refusé la copie de nos papiers, le pass de notre hôtel et aucune solution ne voulant être trouvée nous avons demandé le remboursement. Ce monsieur a accepté… et nous a remboursé uniquement le dollar payé en tant que frais annexe. Il nous a donc décompté une activité de notre Pass Explorer (x3) que nous avons perdu. C’est du vol! Unlimited Biking se fera payé et nous n’avons pas profité des vélos! Je me demandais pourquoi ils étaient si insistants sur la réservation avant de nous expliquer quoi que ce soit, maintenant je le sais! Sur 3 séjours à New York c’est vraiment ma pire expérience. Fuyez!

London tourist visiting Washington, DC and had very limited time to see all the major historical monuments. At the last minute, I decided to rent a bike, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip. The rental was very affordable, especially compared to other options in the area. The gentleman who helped me (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive, making the whole process quick and stress-free. The bike itself was in good condition and very easy to ride. Having a bicycle made a huge difference—I was able to cover all the major monuments comfortably and efficiently. What would have taken me about 2 hours and 30 minutes on foot ended up taking just around an hour on the bike, while still giving me time to stop, take photos, and enjoy the experience. I highly recommend this bike rental to anyone visiting DC, especially if you want to see a lot in a short amount of time. It was convenient, affordable, and made my sightseeing experience so much better.

Our bike tour with Jaimie was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our time in London. From the very start, it was clear that he has a genuine love of history, and he brought it to life in a way that was both engaging and fun. He shared fascinating stories—some I had never heard before—about Winston Churchill and other historical figures, making the past feel vivid and memorable. I truly learned new things during this tour. Jaimie did an incredible job keeping our large group of bikers together, even while navigating busy streets and crowded areas full of tourists spilling into the bike lanes. His directions were clear and easy to follow (single file, turns, stops), and no one ever felt lost. We covered a lot of ground and made multiple mini stops at wonderful locations rich with history. When I unfortunately got a nail in the tire of my e-bike, Jaimie and his coworker Noel handled the situation with impressive calm and quick thinking. When they realized the tire couldn’t be removed quickly or easily, Noel went above and beyond by bringing me a replacement e-bike partway through the tour. Thanks to their teamwork, we stayed on schedule and didn’t miss a beat. What made this experience even more special is that we found ourselves unexpectedly in London on a chilly Christmas Day, with much of the city shut down. On short notice, we were so grateful to find this bike tour open. We didn’t know what to expect—but we were thrilled. The tour was fun, informative, well-organized, and welcoming. Jaimie was kind, patient, and considerate to everyone in the group, and he successfully guided us through the city with confidence and care. I can’t recommend this tour enough, and Jaimie and Noel truly made it exceptional. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
