Amazing tour

Did two tours while in Barcelona. Very little overlap, each tour was distinct. Especially enjoyed the night tour. Our guides were excellent. Special mention for Angie who connects really well with guests and customizes information based on interest. Recommend Fat Tire for any city you are visiting.

Best tour we have taken since we arrived in Spain and Italy. Stefy has a way of keeping you interested and spellbound by the history and the architecture. My mind usually wanders easily so I can tell you for sure that she is a magnificent story teller! My husband is a little afraid of heights but we managed to go to the top of the Duomo for spectacular views. Wear comfy shoes for the climb.

The bikes were so easy to use and we were SO thankful to have e-bikes. Some of the ride to the Golden Gate bridge was very steep. Having an e-bike made it very easy for any age and fitness level to have the experience.

Really easy to get to the shop, super friendly staff who spoke English with me, and the bike I rented for a day had all of the bike bits in all the right places and did not turn puddles into fountains ☺️ (The biking might have been limited by the closing hours of the shop, but the enjoyment of not having to throw a leg over a high tube was not) *only one of the bikes in the photos is rentable

Francesca was amazing! Her knowledge and insight made the tour very engaging. Absolutely loved our time at the Duomo. I highly suggest that if you have a hard time climbing 3 flights of stairs or are claustrophobic, don’t sign up for the climb. There are 400+ steps in a very narrow stairway. If you are able it’s totally worth it!!!

The Fat Tire Tour of Milan operated by Unlimited Biking was an outstanding way to spend a morning in Milan. The tour was 3 hours and hit many major landmarks around the city. Being on a bike made it easy to see a lot of sights. The bikes were equipped with a 3-speed hub, more than enough for the very flat terrain of Milan. I was never wanting for more gear reduction. The bike itself had some wear (it is a tour/rental bike afterall) but everything worked as it should. A small handlebar bag had a poncho in case of rain and room for a bottle of water (not provided - bring your own! Or buy one from the Poke shop next door). The tour guide Valentina was excellent and very knowledgeable about the city and its history.

I would honestly give this business 5 stars EXCEPT they take and hold your license as collateral for the bike. Not only is this a dangerous practice (what if something happens and you are incapacitated with no ID, especially if you are traveling?) but this is actually illegal. An ID or DL is a government-issued document that is considered your personal property, and retaining it can be an invasion of privacy, a violation of state laws, and an opportunity for identity theft. I suggest just putting a deposit hold on a credit card instead of possibly endangering people and breaking the law.

Our guide (Dan) did a great job navigating us through London and providing a fun, humorous, and historical tour of many sites in central London while avoiding the large protest happening simultaneously. I would happily join his tour again!
