The trouble with Rome is that it is all hills & steps. It is also well spread out. Using Segways was a brilliant way to get over this and the tour guide man it fun and had a wealth of interesting information. We went to places that worth seeing and covered quite a distance. Will be trying to get Segway tours in other cities. Guide was excellent.

My husband and I live in the DC area, but I love to play tourist in my own town, so I talked him into doing a Segway tour with me. We always see people doing it, and kind of make fun of them in our heads cause they DO look goofy, but it was something I've always wanted to try (both the Segway & an official tour of DC). So we made a reservation for a tour on a Friday evening after work and needless to say it was one of my favorite things I have ever done!! First time on a Segway is nerve-wracking, but the instructor/guide was great. And he was right, the second time you get on the Segway it is so much easier. Within 5-10 minutes everyone in our group was comfortable. The information and sights on the tour were fun too. We'll definitely do this in other cities. It's a great way to get around and learn cool things too. Such a great time!

A wonderful way to see the incredible sights of Rome. We were a group of 8 (older adults) and some were a little hesitant at first but it was very easy to get the hang of riding a Segway. Ferdinando was our tour guide and a lovely guy - he is also an archeologist so was very informative. We covered 10kms and the tour took us places we would not have gone to on foot. Loved the special keyhole and the whole 3 hours. It is not just for the young, but also for the young at heart. A great experience and would highly recommend.

Excellent tour of the central part of Rome. It really provides a good introduction to the monuments and sites. We took the night tour on our last night in Rome and regret not going sooner. Our guide Marco was extremely helpful, funny, and a perfect match for the setting and pace of our group. The segways were fun and very easy to learn to use (it was our first time). You should defiantly take this tour, it was worth every bit of the €60.

The best tour I have ever done. Brilliant and informative. Exciting, fun and educational. Small group, excellent headsets and brilliant tour guide (Marco). Without question the highlight of all the tours we did in Rome. Do the tour early on in your time at Rome as it will give you great bearings for the city and will be a taster for the days to come. DO THIS TOUR - YOU'LL BE GRATEFUL!

This was one of the best ideas on my trip to Rome, and is an easy and fast way to tour Rome. First things visit the website, and they may have a discount offer to take. The segways themselves are motorised scooters and are easy to ride - an introduction and practice session starts before the tour itself. You're given a radio with an earphone to hear the guide, and guided around the Colloseum, past the Circus Maximus, up some of the hills, and past the Forum. In between moving around you are shown further details on video by iPad. The Segways make travelling quick, and cuts down on a lot of travelling time, giving more time for photo stops. It makes it easy when the sun is quite overwhelming and you can fly past people. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The Segway is an experience to use itself. This is a fun tour and i highly recommend it.

Me and my wife rented bikes for Primavera festival from here. The service was very good and in the end we even got a refund of 10 euros because we booked the bikes via an affiliate who only offered a full week rental but in the end we used the bikes less than that. Very friendly english speaking people!!!

Rome via Segway is an incredible way to enjoy the sights with a twist especially if you have not used a segway (which is very easy to use). The tour we took - 3 hrs - covered a tremendous distance without rushing - would take 8 or more hours walking. Our guide - Marco was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw Rome from many scenic perspectives that would be difficult any other way. This was the highlight of our visit to Rome.
