Biking through Rome with Tony was possibly the highlight of our Roman experience. His expertise on the sights of Rome was superior. His attention to safety of our tour group was reassuring. There were just six of us, and he kept us close to him at all times telling us in advance via the speaker phone we wore about traffic and other safety concerns. We experienced close up and personally many of the sights and sounds and tastes of Rome in a way we would never have been able to do on our own under his oversight. From capuccino and coissants to the best pizza I ever tasted to delectable gelato, we sampled our way through Roman cuisine while navigating through key places that are not to be missed. My husband is in his mid-60's and an expert biker; I am 70 and a moderate biker, while the other two couples were in their twenties or early thirties, trim and fit. At first I thought I might not be able to keep up. However, we set the bikes in second gear, the course was essentially flat, and I did not have a problem at all keeping up with everyone. One of the women from England expressed concern about biking on the opposite side of the road, and she agreed that Tony was so helpful with calling out what we were doing that she found the biking to be safe as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour with folks from three other countries. Well paced and excellent venues to try new foods (truffle sandwich), local produce (cheese, salami, wine, beer and gelatto)

We rented a couple bikes from here and had absolutely no problems! Brilliant little bikes and they don't charge any extra for locks so there were no issues parking up and going for a dip in the sea. Great value and the city has lots of infrastructure for cyclists. Helmets also available for free!

Did the city tour with Ben in September. He gives some great insights and facts about the local points of interest from the gothic quarter, churches and the beach. Couldn't recommend this tour enough!
