Rome is incredible, but it’s also big, crowded, and full of hills. The Segway allowed us to glide effortlessly between iconic landmarks like Aventine Hill, the Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, and Capitoline Hill—all while staying fresh and fully engaged. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was our guide, Daniele. Daniele struck that rare balance of being incredibly knowledgeable while also being approachable, engaging, and genuinely fun to spend time with. His passion for Rome was obvious, and he brought the city’s history to life in a way that never felt like a lecture—more like a great conversation with someone who loves what they do. He also did an outstanding job managing the group—ensuring everyone felt comfortable on the Segways, navigating the city safely, and timing our stops perfectly for both storytelling and photo opportunities. Speaking of which, the scenic viewpoints he selected gave us some of our favorite photos from the entire trip. If you’re visiting Rome and want to see the highlights efficiently, comfortably, and with real insight, I cannot recommend this tour enough. And if you’re lucky enough to get Daniele as your guide, you’re in for something special. Bottom line: A fun, informative, and unforgettable way to experience Rome. Worth every minute.
