What an amazing experience. My Husband and I did the Munich Fat Tire Bike Tour on our European Honeymoon in November. This was my third time doing a Fat Tire Bike Tour (I have done Paris and Barcelona before) and my husband's first time. We both had a blast and the tour guides are hoenstly what makes the tours so much fun. Rob our tour guide was entertaining and very informative. He new a lot about the history of Munich and showed us around the most notable parts of the city.The bikes were all named, which added an element of fun to picking out your bike and they provided gloves for everyone because of the cold. We started off at the wittelsbacherbrunnen (which was unfortunately covered to protect it from the winter freeze) and learned about the drinking water supply of the city. Then we moved onto Karolineplatz where we first started to getting into the about Hitler and the beginning of the Munich Putsch. We moved onto the greek museum and infamous Propylaea seen in so many WWII propoganda photos. We saw the Nazi headquarters, which is now a school of music, where the Munich Agreement was signed. We passed by the egyptian museum and saw the modern art museum and the UFO house. Then we headed towards the Residence Palace where we were able to go into the beautiful Theatinerkirch, a church built by Theresa of Bavaria after her child was born. We headed to the Christmas Market located within the Residence Palace courtyard. It was absolutely amazing and our first taste of a Christmas Market. We got our first taste of hot Gluwhein, which was perfect after a cold bike ride. We also tried one of the delicious pork and onion sanwiches and and Apfelkuckle (Apple Cake). Dan, another guide from the fat tire bike tour company had met us there and had his first try of eggnog, which tasted very different from Eggnog in the U.S.. We got to chat with Dan and Rob and get some of their backstory and how they ended up in Germany. They were very friendly! After we all ate, we went to the glass government building and the tomb of the unknown soldier . We passed by the American Embassy and saw part of the Berlin wall. We then headed on a ride through the English Gardens and saw the famous surfers. It was very interesting and seemed quite dangerous. We rode past some Ancient Roman ruins that they found while doing construction work in the city. We rode towards the Munich and Jewish Museum and got a brief history on that. Finally, we made it back to the bike shop where Dan had some hot Gluwhein waiting for us. We stayed a bit after chatting with Rob, Dan, and some of the group. Rob gave us all sorts of suggestions on sites to see, places to eat, and beer gardens to go to. Rob and Dan were absolutely amazing and if I make it back to Munich, I will sign up for it again!

We did this bike tour on New Years Day 2023, a very sunny day. Biked part of Central Park, went west to the Hudson River, through West Village, Washington Square, Chinatown, Court district, to the Brooklyn Bridge. Our Dutch guide Daniel K was friendly, experienced, relaxed. Someone who lived in NYC for 45 years and tells you very personal stories and information in a non-commercial or pushy way. Absolute must do when in NYC.

My friends and I went on a Segway tour guided by Joe. It was great. Joe patiently instructed each participant on how to operate the vehicle and in no time we were on our way. Joe was knowledgeable, entertaining and attentive. Five stars for Joe and Unlimited Biking.

This was definetly a highlight for our trip to Munich! We saw so many beautiful places and learned a lot. It’s my first ever tour abroad and I absolutely loved it. Rob was super fun and engaging with the entire group. Me and my bf had a blast 🤩 10/10 would recommend, if ever in Munich go on tour with Rob the mad tour guide 🤪 (Ludwig the mad king) Thanks for a memorable day from the swedish couple 🇸🇪
