Hidden gem on Auburn Avenue
This was a great tour. Courtney was awesome. Energetic and gave us lots of history of the Municipal Market. I’m from Atlanta and had never been there so it was great to find out more about it. She made us feel like we were just hanging out with our good friend. The food tastings and biscuit making were perfection!!! Definitely plenty of food. You won’t go away hungry. Highly recommend. Lots to see!!!

Jen was a wonderful tour guide! This experience was new and exciting, as well as tasty and memorable. We learned so much about Atlanta’s history during the prohibition era, and it was really interesting to learn different things about the way alcohol influenced cuisine. Jen was so patient with us, and my sister and I were so full afterwards! Really enjoyed this and would recommend to anyone!

Living history in Atlanta
Kristin was a fabulous guide. She took time to learn about the dozen attendees and did a great job putting the history of Atlanta at the center of the civil rights movement. We not only saw the historical sites but learned about their significance and why things evolved the way they did. She supplemented the talk with audio and visual highlights. We all felt that we developed a new appreciation for Atlanta being essential to the civil rights movement. Highly recommend this tour!

Inspiring Atlanta
Leigh is a superb tour guide and we learned fascinating stories of the history of Atlanta, the Civil Rights movement and the King family. Leigh is a professor and shares her extensive knowledge in a manner that expresses pride in the leaders that contributed to the growth of a state, a nation and the globe.

Excellent tour guide, Paris. Recommend this tour!
We really enjoyed our tour with our excellent guide, Paris. Food was delicious and some of the Atlantans in our group had never experienced some of the places we tried - not to mention the visitors among us. The cemetery tour and ATL history was informative and fun.

Edutainment
I learned so much from my tour guide, Zoe. She was a wealth of knowledge about MLK Jr, the sweet auburn neighborhood, and the civil rights movement generally. The other people who were supposed to attend the tour with me had a scheduling conflict, so it was like I had booked a private tour and could ask as many questions as I wanted. It was amazing!

Great experience
Kristin was a great guide! We had a great time with great food tasting. And, the biscuits came out great. Kristin also made things easy and safe for me with a gluten sensitivity. We would highly recommend. (Note: there was very little walking which made it easy for my mother-in-law)

If you're hesitating on the Prohibition Tour, Don't!
One of our family's new Christmas traditions is to do experiences vs presents, as none of us need more "stuff". When I read about the Prohibition Progressive Dinner, I knew it was something all of us would enjoy, and it exceeded my expectations in every way! The customer service from their administrative staff was attentive and made sure everything was going to be as scheduled, even on a holiday week. I went ahead and bought the tickets, and we attended what turned out to be a fabulous, upscale event that we all loved! Our guide, Jen was very knowledgeable about the history of Prohibition in Atlanta, but also had a great rapport with all of the restaurants that were participating in our dinner. She was the perfect guide, who disappeared into the woodwork to give us privacy, but magically appeared right when we may have needed something. She was also lots of fun, and again, everyone in our group agreed that she took this event over the top, as far as the experience all of us had in attending this fantastic evening out. We all highly recommend this tour, and can't wait to do it again ourselves! 5 stars!!!

Leigh was an amazing guide. She made the tour so interesting and engaging. Hard to believe we learned something new as soon as the tour started. We had a family of four ranging from 13-49 and everyone loved it. The best part of our trip.
