We had to wait in line as a group. Groups do get priority but there are multiple groups & a highschool came. They were not next, we were. but the officials let them go through first. It meant everything was pushed back time wise, we had to stand in the rain & there is no seating until you're in. Our guide was apologetic, and there was nothing he could do. He also gave us the full tour. Some had to leave due to time though. As for our guide, Marc, he was very friendly & knowledgeable. His English was excellent, however, he does have a strong ish accent & he would benefit from talking a bit slower. Overall good, but not sure it was worth the cost. That said getting tickets on any other site, including online through the Sagrada site, was next to impossible for our timing & this worked. Overall, happy with the tour.

Explanation of how University Bologna began
This was a 2.5 hour walking tour with a local educated in art and history. Valeria did an excellent job of explaining how the University began, and evolved. We viewed the first official building (and teatro anatomico, not included, but a highlight), and walked the streets while she pointed out various things.

A must do when in Venice
See and be seen! A thoroughly worthwhile experience, Roberto, our Gondolier was excellent and chatted and gave us details of the history of the beautiful architecture that we passed during our 1 hour private journey. A very special way to see Venice.

Nice, calm gondola ride.
It was a nice gondola ride through the side canals. The pickup point was close to the train and bus stations too!

Not worth the price
Not worth the price and too far from main area. If you plan to stay in the San Macro near Rialto bridge area, there are plenty of gondola rides that are closer with a better view of the city. Also we got cheated on our time, started late and ended early. Not the experience I had hoped for

Venice Gondola ride
Great time on hour ride. Gondalier Nico was very informative about sites and Venice in general. Very peaceful ride and we had a great time.

The ride was pretty and very quiet which was nice when traveling amid the small canals within Venice. The meeting spot was a little confusing as we had arrived 10 minutes prior to the meeting time (which was set for 15 minutes before our start time) and arrived about 5 minutes before our start time after we discovered the meeting spot was slightly up river from where we were instructed. My only complaint was that we booked a 30 minutes ride, and the gondola driver brought us back after only 20 minutes so I left feeling like I didn’t get what I paid for.
