Beautiful experience
This experience was truly memorable, I loved the way our guide (called Novella) passionately told the story of the city, a woman whose passion for her work is easily visible. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable from all points of view, she showed us Pompeii and catapulted us into the years when the city was flourishing and prosperous

We had a peaceful ride w/ Luca in the smaller canals. I wish we could afford a full hour! It was nice having him tell us general information about Venice and his own experiences. And he takes really good photos!

Ride was nice, but…
The ride itself was nice, but everything leading up to it was very poor. There is no signage when you arrive to the meeting point to show you’re in the right place and when we finally found the appropriate spot they claimed to not have our reservation and attempted to turn us away despite us showing all documentation for booking. After going back and forth they found the information they needed from us and we were allowed to proceed. As I said the ride itself was nice although it didn’t take you through any of the really popular areas like Rialto bridge if you’re looking for something like that.

Nice but expensive and short changed on the time
Nice trip but we booked 30 mins and were only out (dock to dock) for 22 mins. I paid the equivalent of €5,70 per hour so this was essentially nearly €50 I was overcharged!

Emphasizing that the gondola station is basically on the opposite side of the city from San Marco would be helpful. Especially to cruise ship customers who have limited time in Venice. That said, the ride was quiet and peaceful! Through canals off of the Grand Canal and not in front of San Marco where there was a lot of activity! Overall an enjoyable experience.

Good introduction to Pompeii and Herculaneum
The was an enjoyable and informative tour. The guide did a good gob of introducing both days -- lunch was filling and everything was well planned. The views from the bus on the way to and from the sites were amazing.

The ride was lovely, even though we didn't go to the tourist attractions, it was still nice to see the backstreets of Venice and see the areas tourists don't normally see. The canals were largely empty too which meant we had a nice relaxing ride. Would recommend this, as well as a more tourist route as well.
