The gondola ride was amazing! It was our honeymoon, we got a great tour and had an amazing tour guide!

I booked this as the small canals appealed to me rather than the others that advertised the Grand Canal. Upon arrival, the guide advised that the route would be altered due to Vogalonga Boat event. I was shown the alternative route which still consisted of the side canals so we were happy to proceed. The tour ended up being one small canal then a trip down the Grand Canal down and back again, finishing at a different location to where we had started. This was a higher priced excursion which I was happy with due to the uniqueness of the route. However, there were much cheaper options around the City. I wasn't given the route or the experience that I had purchased and we were left feeling ripped off

I paid for an hour ride and it ended up being about 45 min. The guide didn’t speak.

Una bella esperienza, la guida è stata eccellente. Peccato per i lavori di ristrutturazione nelle varie fontane nel parco, ma ne valsa veramente la pena visitarla.

Stefano was a class act. They were running a little late, and he and the crew apologized. I had a 1 hour ride, and he gave us a nice tour of some of the peaceful canals, and a brief tour of the grand canal. Saw some key historical landmarks and places of Venice. He was very knowledgeable about the history. He was such a master with the boat, this is a rare art and profession, very sad to hear that living prices are driving out these working men of Venice to live somewhere else. Unfortunately from what I can tell is Venice has become crop commercialized and the prices are going up. Very nice city it’s a dream but way to crowded in the weekends during prime time.
