Wonderful ride in the evening! We were taken down canals with less boat traffic, and the gondolier had excellent control of the gondola! We had a wonderful time!

Too Hot - Too Long for July
Luciana was a very nice and professional guide, Fillipo was an excellent driver, but the tour was simply too long and too hot in July. It was advertised as a 6 hour excursion, but it was actually very close to 8 hours? The food and wine lunch was fantastic. I’m sure this tour would be much better in cooler months.

It’s was ok. Quite a walk from the hotel To the meeting place. Depending on where you stay there are more convenient places to grab a gondola ride. Guide didn’t seem to know much more than pointing places out. No real significance given to the route we took.

We unfortunately missed the tour due to tube delays despite leaving an hour earlier to meet the tour guide 20 mins before the tour started. Unfortunately we encountered a half an hour delay on the tube and having to stop due to my father with his pre existing health conditions. I think the tour guide and operators were not very understanding because of this or listening to our apologies, communication was not great. Not booking with this company again.

Good experience
Was hard to find our Gondola, we had to ask. There is an office with small writing of the tour company. Very close to our hotel - 5 minutes walk. We booked a 30 minute rise was was enough time. The ride was good, my hand the guide chatted for 30 minutes about fishing.

Our gondolier was more interested in speaking to other gondoliers on your ride than providing us with information about what we were seeing or the general history of Venice. The ride was supposed to last 30 minutes and it maybe lasted 25 at most.

The private gondola ride was a must for my wife. Ours was an hour long on smaller canals. It was very nice. Our gondolier did not speak or understand much english but we enjoyed conversing with him. I'm not sure what it costs to book a gondola on the spot but I thought our cost was a bit pricey.

Five star gondola ride! Alviso was our gondolier and he made this so special for us. Highly recommend the hour if your schedule and budget permit. We will never forget this!

Gondola Driver Not Found at Location
The location is difficult to get to and even though we were 8 minutes late after running to get there, and visibly sweating, the driver was not there. We searched but did not find him. After 10 minutes he showed up. He spoke little English but told us to get in the gondola. He toured us for 10 minutes only and not 30. When we asked why he protested in broken English that he was there on time and then went to the toilet and came back (at 8.18). I do not accept this excuse. He was not there at 8.08 when we were there. The representations made by him as to why the journey should be 10 minutes long are not equitable and are unjust and in breach of our legitimate expectations. We had booked one gondola ride as a family and I truly wanted my three children to have a positive experience. The persons running the specific gondola should not be allowed to destroy such possibilities.

Lovely experience if customer service was not so stank.
Two other customers walked up after we checked in and they were immediately boarded onto their gondola. They were asked the same question we were asked - do you have a reservation. We arrived early but left 6 minutes late and still came back before the 30 minutes were up. We also had a little history but he spent more time talking on his phone. We were approached by a number of friendly gondola drivers prior to this but passed since we had a reservation. Overpriced and bad service. I would not recommend.

Mind blowing experience
We were enjoying our trip. The archeological site is impressive. Our tour guide was well informed and answered all questions we asked. Tried to keep us safe (was very hot) to be sure we are supplied with water (there are drinking water stations-fountains). Our clever lady save us waiting in the loooong queue by leading us to less occupied entrance. The timing of the meeting was very Italian ;). After our guided trip we stayed few more hours to see as much as we can.
