Fascinating Walking Sicilian Tour of Taromina
We met our guide, Valentina, who walked us around the town, showing us various points of interest from the narrow streets, churches, palaces, the square out side the church and library and the clock tower. We even had time to visit the tranquil public gardens designed by Lady Trevelyan. Valentina was friendly and gave us lots of tips on the best restaurants to try and other attractions to visit. One of these was Castlemola a truly fascinating village high above Taormina with spectacular views. Grazie Valentina, thank you for taking the time to spend the morning with us and sharing your wealth of knowledge.

Fascinating and beautiful Verona
From start to finish this was a worthwhile trip. Our first guide on the coach to Verona and through our time there was lovely. Think her name was Rosata?? Very informative, lovely friendly guide with enthusiasm and knowledge. Our guide around Verona was Leonardo and he was fabulous. Quite funny, very informative, passionate about his home and its amazing history. Lots of time to see Arena on your own, shop till you drop, enjoy the shops etc. very good trip, really enjoyed it.

Sunset is the absolute best time for Gondola ride!
Sunset is definitely the way to go when it comes to the Gondola rides! So glad we chose this option as opposed to the daytime ones. The canals are so much more calm and beautiful in the evening. Cruising down the side canals at dusk and listening to Venice settle down for the evening was so incredible. We watched the next day as Gondola's were pummeled by wake in the canals from all the boats during the day. It DID NOT look enjoyable. Go with a morning or evening option if you want a nice, calm and romantic (or even for littles as I would have been scared to take a child on the Gondolas during the day). Our guide was so nice and we enjoyed getting to know him and learning about his life as a Gondolier.

Just an ok gondola ride
Overall, our boat ride was ok. Our party arrived on time for the gondola ride but the boat arrived 20 minutes late. Too, our gondolie spent most of the boat ride on his cellphone with very interaction with our group.

La visite de la vallée des temples n’aurait pas été la même sans Mirella notre guide. Elle est passionnée et rend la visite passionnante à tout point de vue, historique mais aussi sur la végétation typique de la région. Nous avons adoré notre visite et la recommandons vivement !
