We did the general tour (mainly focused on Pest side) as well as the Buda castle tour. General tour: Our tour guide (forgot his name, but he was from Budapest) was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a comprehensive history of the country. He was friendly and even taught us few Hungarian words. Its a good way to orient yourself in the city and he basically had an answer to all our questions. I really recommend it to begin with. Buda Castle tour: Dora was extremely sweet and very keen on providing us with a lot of information. She clearly knew a lot of little details. She was very mindful that it was a hot day, and always tried to find us some shade, make sure we stayed hydrated. She had a list of restaurants for us and was proactive with tips on public transport/getting around. Highly recommended tour. :)
